Nice solid win to start 2nd half of the season. can't ask for much more. Hope Thomas can keep this up, those passes for the first 2 goals were magneficent.

An awful lot of moaning about the quality of ‘end’ on here. There was literally no competition, on or off the pitch. MK Dons were hopeless, and we were silky smooth. 
 

We won, easily. It was fun to be watching our beloved City after a long gap. Just enjoy it. There will be plenty of rough and tumble ahead

Didn't watch or listen to any of it but just seen the highlights, the goals.

 

Impressed. Decent forward flowing, direct (No, that doesn't mean route one, it means not going round the houses and back again) with intent.

 

Yes it was only MK Dons, a League One team but some nice goals, looking at the stats - we created a decent amount of chances for the amount of possession we had, seems it was possession with purpose. Nice.

 

It was clearly always going to be a friendly type feeling game and albeit being a 'easy, training type game' hopefully we'll benefit from having a competitive match ahead of the league restart.

They certainly sounded present on the stream I watched on. Not always but certainly more so than Dons' fans. But it had a preseason rec ground feel to it really, attack v defence, and you could hear player/manager shouts. I kinda like that in truth.

 

We had a prolonged period of possession late 2nd half, around their box, with shouts of 'shooot' on every touch. Quite funny. Then morphed into oh-lays as th le possession continued. Cripes knows how many passes, 40? 50? As I say, preseason (or end of season?) japes.
