Will Alves is the next big thing to come out of Leicester City.

The boy has some real talent and if it wasn't for his injury he would have made his break through already, certainly last season. I'm fairly certain he would have been in the 1st team squad more often than not.

He's a real talent and hopefully, whoever the new manager ends up being, he gets his chance next season

Whenever I've seen him play, right from a junior level, he's been light years ahead.

Moving up to the "mens game" is of course a completely different game, so only time will tell, but he certainly has something about him. I'm hopeful he'll continue to develop, and I've seen a fair bit in him that suggest he will do. His injury has set him back a year or 2, but he most certainly has the talent

I wish I was, I'd bet he earns more in 2 months at 19 than I earn in a year :D

I remember going to watch Leicester youth at Holmes Park and Harvey Barnes always stood out.

Hopefully a similar progression with Alves

First and foremost we need to get him on a new contract.

Prior to his injury his obvious talent was there to see but even at U21 level the goals and assists weren't that frequent. However since he's come back even with a few injury setbacks it feels like he's scored and assisted most games he's played. Far too good for that level.

He's our game changer next season.

Just got a feeling that he is going to really kick on next season.

Whole different level.

He's played 15 minutes of senior football, he still has a massive learning curve ahead of him.

Most concerning thing is he has 12 months left only on his contract.

Can’t loan him out unless he signs a new deal first

and if he doesnt get loaned out then he has to get significant game time or he won’t be encouraged to sign a new deal
