Excellent as always lads. Whilst I fundamentally disagree with Jordan on Cooper he does make some decent points.  In any event I think it's good to have a balance of opinions and a reasoned and reasonable debate.

Great listen - some really good points on both sides. Jordan has softened my view on Cooper ever so slightly…

I think it was Rodgers who was the first to say for us that he was the coach and not in charge of buying the players.

 

Why shouldn't those who chose to buy Khannouss for arguement sake not come out and tell us why they thought he would be a good fit. Not saying he won't

Well that's tosh if he said it, considering he installed his own man and literally said he has the final say on all signings.

From memory I think he said him and his coaching team identify a position that need improving . The scouts then come up with available players and he picks his top 3. Roumers where he was getting pissed off at the club struggling to secure his 1st choices and end up with his 3rd choice most times !

He is indeed, a good friend of mine used to do it with him. Guy Branston is now teamed up with Lee I believe. I'll see what I can do.

I think we can all agree that everything changed with Lee. 
 

For those of us of a certain vintage there’s definitely two era’s. Pre Lee and Post Lee. Oh and also the period Lee was here.  That’s three but sort of two.

Fun Fact on Tom Williamson, he was the last sub to ever come on at Filbert Street. He came on in injury time in the 2-1 win over spurs for his only appearance- not sure he touched the ball.

I had my suspicions about @Ric Flair’s Who Are Ya? performances during his early days on the pod but after having a meal with him (and his well-documented IBS) at Paddy’s Marten Inn and seeing the updates on his half-marathon training, I can say with total assurance that this man faces danger head-on and refuses any shortcut to glory.

I remember the oh-so limited Paul Reid with affection, but for him to be one of anyone’s favourites from any era just made me feel for you @Claudio Fannieri 🙁
