I know it's an incredibly trivial thing to get annoyed by, and I'll get accused of sexism or something, but the changing of 'man of the match' to 'player of the match' really winds me up for some reason. It's completely unnecessary to neutralise the language of the men's game just because the women's game is becoming more mainstream.

TBF if Rodgers has this view you can kinda understand why he doesn’t seem to know what he’s doing during the match.
