Fazzer 7 Posted 25 January 2023 Posted 25 January 2023 Thank god for that. Wasn't a certainty arry kane the last spurs player we loaned in, and he was hopeless is memory serves correct.

The nice guy personally has worked well when things are working but as we have found out, when the going gets tough, we dont have leaders. ...not sure Rodgers wants to bring in players with attitude!!! He will have to deal with them, and that means dropping them to the bench. The reason why we are so weak as a club, we cannot have players which challenges the managers authority, he (Rodgers) is not capable of handling such players. 1
JimJams Posted 25 January 2023 Posted 25 January 2023 Which managers actually do let players question their authority? And how do they handle it? 1
lanefox Posted 25 January 2023 Posted 25 January 2023 Much like with Harrison bring him and Tete in and I'm all for it
OntarioFox Posted 25 January 2023 Posted 25 January 2023 Yes please. Then do what Forest didn't and have some ambition to bring him in for good. Absolutely wasted at Spurs.
Ian Nacho Posted 25 January 2023 Posted 25 January 2023 No doubt he’s a good player, but definitely got some attitude problems. Not too sure it’s worth the risk when we’re in the position we are. 1
filbertway Posted 26 January 2023 Posted 26 January 2023 Sounds like there's no legs. We'd only want a loan anyway, as it's no good collecting 800 right backs. As much as I enjoyed the days of fielding 6/7 right backs a game under Gary Megson 1

Buzzell Posted 26 January 2023 Posted 26 January 2023 He’s a decent player tbf but I can’t see it happening.

Ricardo is back and we have Castagne, so why would they send him to a club where he might not even be number one choice.
JimJams Posted 26 January 2023 Posted 26 January 2023 The takeaway from that tweet is that Lyon are interested, and Djed is a good RWB, which I'll assume means they don't want to play wingers (343 doesn't exist) which means they'll want rid of all right wingers, which means... ...fk all sadly. 2

They turned Brentford’s offer down cause they wanted an obligation to buy at the end of it. Spurs don’t want to include any buy options in the deal.
