Looks like 23/24 shirts are here already https://www.footyheadlines.com/2023/02/no-hummel-oneills-bristol-city-23-24-home-kit.html?m=1 with Bristol City switching to next years shirt immediately as Hummel's UK distributor had gone belly up.

We can dream... Goodbye Adidas... Hello O'Neills with this in blue with white double pin stripes and a green away with yellow...

Not a modern kit but more for one with an interest in shirt collecting, really.

A few years back before the boom I bought a HIbs shirt which is absolutely stunning off eBay for a little over £30 – she's a stunner, Le Coq Sportif and the Carlsberg sponsor and seemingly rare AF. There's one on eBay now for £150. While I'm not too arsed about selling it, my question is – can you hold onto a football shirt for *too long* it starts to depreciate in value? Luckily it's not one of ones that has a Score Draw / newly made lookalike doing the rounds but was just curious.

This is the bad lad in question:

Went on sale yesterday at £90 a pop.....

It still sold out after about 5 hours and can now be bought on ebay for £200.

JD made a mess of a 15%  online discount code and applied 30% instead. Some people seems to have got away with it,some had their orders cancelled 😀

Not really.

The demand only increases for most retro shirts while the supply only ever diminishes. Unless they re-release it (unlikely), it'll slowly appreciate in value.
