I am convinced once Vichai passed away Rudkin used the situation over time as an opportunity to seize power, hence why Susan Wheelan left and why he ends up as the CFO. Classic Power Battle and we lost out.

Wheelan herself I know has many detractors at the club but by comparison she is a big miss.

Just for clarity it's Whelan, not Wheelan.

Where are the whistle blowers? Will we ever learn what that sly weasel Rudkin is conspiring behind the scenes. Someone must know or are they paid off so well lips stay shut? Pretty impressive if that’s the case.

There’s no conspiracy. Thai’s rate loyalty and kindness, Rudkin is happy to be a lapdog. He’s not arrogant, he’s just awkward, quiet and massively incompetent though arguably arrogance in choosing not to stand down of his own accord. But then he’d never get a job this good again.

He always seems to have this pretentious yet gormless look on his face, very much unlikeable and definitely proven incompetent. The mood in house and with fans would immediately be uplifted if Top sacked him, and it would make Top slightly more likeable.

Yea he won’t walk. He’d not be able to get a similar job in football anywhere else

Yes.

Rudkin is now viewed as a complete failure.

And Top beside him. Perfect 👌

The useless melt probably feels like a victim even though he's brought all of this upon himself, with Top's enabling of course.

I bet he's one of those simpletons that even though he earns 5/10 times what his talent ever should have afforded him, he somehow still finds a way to live paycheck to paycheck and is terrified about being made redundant, never to find work in football again, so stays frozen where he is like a rabbit in the headlights.

That's the only explanation I can think of for why he's not at least taken a sideways move or demotion to OHL, KP, back to the youth teams, a seat on the board, or just Top's personal horse botherer.

Remember when they were introducing Enzo to Seagrave - they were in the dressing room which was a bit messy with pre season and some prep work. This shit speaks up and turns to Enzo and says “it’s not always like this”. To which Enzo turns to him and says “I know”. That was his contribution. DOG shit *****.

Just get him gone FFS.

Ultimately Tops trust was with this guy.

He has failed miserably .3 relegation in four seasons. No excuses.GET OUT OF OUR CLUB...

If he don't resign then he is an absolute parasite

He must be a massive coward. He never does media interviews, never allows public scrutiny. Just lurks in the shadows and the directors box,  with a gormless blank look on his mug. Gerrim out, Top ffs.

Sycophancy is the better word, Rudkin doesn’t have a kind bone in his body.

If he doesn't want to remove himself as well as the club doing so itself, there's no other alternative really.

I’m not 100% sure what you mean but I feel like this post will be used as evidence in court.

Probably been said before. But I really don't think we can move on & build a positive atmosphere at the club with Rudkin here.

Lets say for example: The rebuild goes well, we hire a good manager, we sign some good players who start well, the young players establish themselves, the fans are onside with it all & we are top of the league. But then we hit a bump & go five games without a win - which can happen, no matter how good the setup is - Then it will all be on again. The Rudkin Out chants start again, protests, Union FS will issue a terse statement & Jason Bourne will go back into meltdown mode...

We will be back to the grind of relentless negativity that has plagued us in recent years.

Rudkin still being here is a self failing prophecy. We need a clean break with the past. But our beloved chairman just cannot see it.

I genuinely think there is something in this. I’ve posted elsewhere - probably in this thread - about what I think we can read into his character and there a few things that lead me to think he doesn’t like conflict - which is why I think he’s dished out big wages because he caves in during negotiations.

I think financially there will be a point - and we may crossed it already - where maintaining his employment does not make financial sense. And I don’t mean the bungling of contracts and excessive wages that have crippled us, I mean we’re seeing indications of mass numbers not renewing season tickets etc, and Rudkin is a key reason for people turning their back on the club.

He needs to leave as well.
