If he does go, other loyal staff in the background (who've known him all along) will be probably be affected and moan that the club he didn't get much 'protection'.

Like who?

Weren’t their reports that he didn’t feel safe around the city?

Clearly not condoning violence but that statement alone, would suggest that he knows that there is outside pressure on him.

The standard radio silence is what winds me up the most, we don’t have one sensible “football” person at the club!

It's hard to believe he still hasn't been pinched by one of the big Premier League clubs. He's so good at his job, why would he want to be at a League One club? Come on Rudders put yourself first, and take that dream move back to the PL.

Interesting to see how Rudkin looked on the couple of times he briefly appeared on the Vardy documentary. Obviously the first being when he signed with Whelan the other side.

He appeared again on the footage inside the tunnel area and looked so naturally smiling and healthy.

Fast forward to now, every time you see him he looks like a zombie, no emotions, and a lot of weight put on around the neck/face.

It paints a picture of an unhappy man. I know people say he stays for the money and power but why? He could earn well being moved to another part of the KP business.

Is money/power worth it if it causes that type of deterioration in your physical appearance and mental state (reading between the lines on the latter).

Maybe he needs the money. Debt, addiction, secret family, something like that. It's the only thing that makes sense.

His brother's golf hobby isn't going to fund itself

Different people have different ways of living I guess but if I had earned the amount he has working for the club, I’d damn we’ll be retired by 58, particularly given the issues with family safety.

Although some of those points you said, whilst obviously speculative, would explain looking deeply unhappy.

Yeh he should just be employed by KP to feed the horses and muck out the stables.

Yeah I really thought he’d put a lot of weight on and looked down right miserable.

Good, I really hope it means this letch isn’t enjoying life so much here anymore

I never understood this

why would someone retire at 58 just because they've got a few bob in the bank? There is such thing as purpose and passion.

Rudkins been in football all his life, Leicester is his life, it’s his passion.

Doesn't matter if he’s useless at his passion, it’s all he’s known. He’s going through an awkwardly torrid time in his passion because of his own failings, disassociating and disconnecting himself from the fan base because of them failings, but as far as he’s concerned, the main person, the owner Top, doesn’t want too get rid of him, so in Rudkins eyes, why should he leave?

he’s aware of the fan’s vitriol towards him, the protest, he probably just wants too put it all right, but in classic Rudkin fashion, he’s ballsing it all up and continuing too isolate himself playing hide and seek with everyone.

Rudkin is someone that will need too be sacked, he won’t do the right thing and step down because he doesn’t see things that way

Mate - just like your weird pictures comment a few weeks ago, this is another grossly wrong take.

Passion ? Passionate people work their ass off. Courses, networking, hours, you name it they do it. If anything stands in the way of that, they are out because their passion, drive, ambition comes first.

It’s not rocket science to become good at something. It’s effort and graft. Results come. It’s not like he hasn’t had some pretty passionate people to work with.

Passionate people or people “wanting to put it right” have a never again attitude if something goes wrong once. They don’t press repeat, repeatedly.

Rudkin is here for the money. Only the money. Actually perhaps a bit of power too but mostly the money,

And there’s me thinking I’d gotten away with the pictures comment :S

I’m in the Rudkin out camp, I just don’t see it your way which is he’s just in it for the money, it’s far deeper than that, which for me is all the more reason Top needs too boot him out but won’t

You know, you’re probably a very decent and honest human being. I’m sure majority on here are. The thing is, these sort of comments really get my back up now and it’s not your fault. The problem we have is we have a group of corrupt individuals sitting at the top of this club. Any excuse for them, I’m going to bite.

Top is the lazy good for nothing son heir who has coasted in life and used to people blowing air up his ass. Everything he does, people should be grateful for. That is what he believes. He’s never seen hard work as his father put the yards in before he grew up.

Rudkin hit gold. A below average coach who was a volunteer given a chance by an individual who has his fingers burnt / trusted him with the role in the sense that he will grow into it. He failed to do that. He enjoys the power - it’s something he has never had in life. He’s blown significant sums and though uncomfortable, it’s ok right now. He gets away with it.

The PR guy - similar to Rudkin, not a decent guy. Andrew Neville - part of the furniture - no real challenge - easy street to retirement.

These individuals do not think like decent folk because they are not decent. See the club, the culture, the people who are not stars who leave. It’s toxic. Toxic people create toxic atmospheres

That’s fair enough mate, there’s possibly some truth in what you say here and there’s not a lot I disagree with tbh, it’s fair comment from you

The main thing I was getting at was to do with the comment I quoted about why don’t 58 year old millionaires just retire…..I just think that’s a silly observation, there’s many reasons why millionaires in their 50’s 60’s 70’s 80’s 90’s don’t retire

If you cared about your passion that much and you knew you were nothing more than a P.E teacher in an ill fitting suit, you'd leave.

No- seriously, i would LOVE that job. Or any job with horses if it actually paid proper money!

Each horse- 6 weeks farrier, 2 year tetanus jab, 1 year flu jab, 1 year dental check. Monthly body condition scoring.

EEEEEEEZEEEEEE!!!

I mean the most relevant bit is right after the bit you have bolded but you have omitted. Safety for him and his family?

A lot of people want to retire early if they can afford it or at least do something part time that is enjoyable.

If you want the documentary and see how he looked 10 years ago to now, then tell me it’s worth it for him…
