It’s not too far from the train station and some decent hotels. (Assuming they got the train and/or stayed over last night).

A leg stretch after a journey on a nice spring day isn’t the worst idea.

Much better than being cooked up in a hotel meeting room overthinking the game tonight.

FWIW, there isn’t a great deal to see where they are. Some coffee shops and paths between office buildings.

Or maybe it’s a stern warning from Smith.

‘3 points tonight or else you’ll be back in this shithole again next season.’

Why is it a thing to go and look round Leeds? Didn't Hodgson do this?

lot of scenic construction work round the train station to look at TBF

Woken up this morning with the match day feeling. Not had it for so long. At least a year, if not longer. Genuine excitement, fear, nerves etc.

I hope to keep it for the rest of the season. Something that was lost under the last regime.

Exactly this. I've been apathetic for months. I had passed the point of disappointment or anger, just nothing. That made me very sad. I wasn't even bothered I was going to miss matches due to holiday. Tonight, I'm going to Villa v Fulham, and I'm disappointed I'll not get to watch us.

Regardless of results, I feel we've got some fight now in the Manager and the team, I've got some back too.

There’s a Harvey Nichols in Leeds that everyone goes on about, as if it’s the answer to something

I don't think so. It's a matter of opinions, I'd say your probably like most fans and just watch the game unfold without watching the finer points of the game.

Try forgetting the Ball for a while and watch his movement.

All his best work comes from outside the box with the bonus of when he scores.

And no I'm not Brendan, I wouldn't be stupid enough to go 4 years without a prop CF who would bring out the best in both Nacho and Maddison.

...Nacho describes himself as a #10!!!

It's insane that all Smith had to do was come in, pick our best players & show an ounce of humility to get the fans onside.

Yeah - would love to see him play there tonight. Madders can replace Tetê on the right as a reference point but drift wherever he wants.

Barnes will come in for Daka but I just wonder whether he'll bring Maddison in for Tete and shove him out wide or Iheanacho and let him have a free role. The way he's talking up Vardy I think he's starting the next 7 which makes it hard to find a place for Nach in the starting line up if Madders plays too.

I did notice that in a post match interview Nacho specifically talked about in the run in being ready to play anywhere up front. I think he talked about out on the wing twice, which made me wonder if this is something they've been working on for certain games... or when Maddison's back.

Based on Leeds recent home form trajectory this has got to be 1-7 hasn't it🤷‍♂️

Jokes aside Leeds look devoid of confidence and very easy to play through , let's do this COYB 👊

If we can keep a clean sheet, might nick this 0-1

More goals in this game than that. its going to be 2-3 to us. Madders and 2x Barnes.

We are going 1-0 down of course. Its what we do.

.. that is a set up to accommodate Maddison with him pushed to the wing!!

Smith had Grealish there for Villa and they might see it as an option,as they are comfortable working with setup. If we chose to use Maddison as an #8 with Mendy and Soumare alongside, it would work within a 4-3-3 setup. It would still give Maddison the freedom you are suggestinging. We can then incorporate Tete, Barnes and Nacho in the frontline.

Yeah - Vards first half again! He will thrive with service from Kel and Madders and Barnes.
