Unfair to criticise bowlers for batting badly, especially in a pressurised situation like this.

Batters, yes, fair enough, it's their job. But not bowlers. I can't imagine having to go out and bat in these circumstances, as a non-batter...

Especially when some of the fastest bowlers in the world are smashing you in the head.

And Aussie crowds don't sometimes cross the line?

Perhaps it's not right, but I'm actually OK with fire meeting fire in this case, if it contributes to a positive result.

Aussie fans are a million times worse than ours.  Whats acceptable in Australia wouldn't be here.

Knew some would pretend this is some sort of victory. Dense as you like. It’s been rubbish bar one piece of individual brilliance.

And one incident that could well set the tone for the series going forward.

Of course it isn't a victory, but let's not pretend there was nothing significant that can't be used in the future.

Don't think anyone's denying you have loads of potential and you're obviously a great team. But Smith called this before the series even started, he said fair enough Bazball is good and all, but can they do it against us?

It wasn't smug arrogance, just matter of fact, they've got the best fast bowling attack in the world and it's obviously going to be the biggest challenge yet for Baz.

If you win doing it it looks great, if you lose it looks lik naivety at best and hubris at worst. Bit like Rodgers trying to throw the kitchen sink at attacking Man City and Liverpool and getting slapped up.
