Well, I know of it, but yeah.

In any case, I think the anger is entirely justified and certainly useful.

And the crowd can help him a long a bit both here and elsewhere by providing an extra bit of adrenaline where needed.

Edit: And the Aussies are human - crowd pressure could end up forcing more mistakes from them.

Already has with the Hazelwood and Starc misfields.

Keep the pressure on, while not letting the pressure get to you is what Stokes and co need to do. Let the Aussies lose their heads a bit.

That's the beauty of Stokes in this mode. Mega-driven to do what he needs to and try his utmost to get control and get on top. And almost not let any emotion get the better of him. It's great to watch. I hope he leads England to win today. Irrespective of what happened with Bairstow.

Was Bairstow trying to gain an advantage or was he just wandering down the pitch at the end of the over? I think there's no doubt which it was.

So the laws can take a hike, that's just terrible by Australia.

I can see a mankad being used or brought out next test

won’t matter - Aussies are 2-0 up and a drawn series keeps the ashes in oz

they will probably be delighted for the series to drop into pedantry and bad spirit

I'm not sure how such a situation would favour them. It didn't against India.

How the game played by "gentleman" has changed.

It's still a gentlemans game when playing folks like NZ, that's played in the right spirit.

Aus? Meet fire with fire.

need wood back

Present evidence is that it is focusing us and distracting the Aussies.

Do agree we need Wood back.

Additional problem is that stokes has to score double the number of runs because he won’t take any singles.

with the field so deep I can’t understand why he isn’t taking twos with less force on the shots
