Fans march from Nelson Mandela Park this evening ?

I saw a post on Facebook about some fans marching from Nelson Mandela Park to the ground tonight starting at 7:20. Apparently, it has been done to whip up the fans and get them in the right mindset in the ground. It will only take 10 minutes to get to the ground, so it seems feasible.

 

Anybody else heard about this and if so are you going?

Its the players that need whipping up, not the fans. Get them involved in the walk 🤣

not sure the fans need whipping up tbh, atmosphere was good v Wolves and Everton. it's on the players to turn up and put the work in

I'll support and applaud good play as I normally do. I just hope those players chosen are in the right "mindset"!!

Balls to this, until they start putting some graft in its not worth it.

I don’t think we can criticise effort of fans to push on the players even though it is the players responsibility to get us over the line to stay in the league. If fans want to do this to show how important it is to them, hopefully the message will reflect on the way we play.

Fair play to the fans organising this. A lot of other fan bases do similar when their team is struggling. 

 

Hopefully it gets numbers behind it and can help make an impact

I haven't seen any information from it but having looked at Google maps I assume it's Welford road, Counting house road, Freeman's common, then Raw Dykes Road to the stadium

Ridiculous idea, Youri or soumare would struggle to do that distance by kick off.

Jeeze remember doing this in the 90's under police supervision from the train station to the ground. Would often be a few scraps on the park or bottles being thrown.
