That will be the booze last night.

Was a good boy actually. Good job I’m driving today otherwise I’d be hitting pints of the black stuff for breakfast.

I woke up early from a nightmare but that's because it involved my relatively healthy cat picking up a disease and dying fairly suddenly. Ironically I woke up to a bit of his sick on the floor at the end of the bed. I'd say I'm handling it better than he is!

Do you follow Chelmsford City by any chance as a side team?

Hahaha! Certainly not. Most in Chelmo support West Ham. Kid from my sons primary school will be in the away end.

A lot of Essex people support West Ham don’t they? And in Barking and Dagenham. I was just asking as I know Spencer Gore who was trying to buy Chelmsford City but the owners wouldn’t sell the club to him. I think Spencer would be a good and ambitious owner for Chelmsford City and get them promoted.

My mums side of the family are all from Barking so my grandad and my brother support West Ham. Funnily enough the first game I took my son to was West Ham v Leicester at the London stadium when we lost 4-1. We sat quietly in the home end around some of the scummiest fans you can imagine. 90 mins of nasty racist stuff with constant c bombs. Thankfully I got him to the KP soon after. Today feels a bit of a full circle for his Leicester adventure, but he is still all in and says he’d be ok with us in the championship.

Good intel about Spencer. There is no football heritage in Chelmsford and I grew up hating my mates supporting Man U or Liverpool . It’s a highly populated area that would benefit from a local team doing well. Doubt it will ever happen. I hated not identifying with anything growing up, and it’s only when I lived in Leicester for 4 years I fell in love with football, even working at the filbert street ground for extra cash.

Never been so relaxed about a game

Expecting to win but go down as Everton will turn Bournemouth over easily

If things manage to go our way then it will be more relief then ecstacy

I feel strange about it. I accepted it a long time ago so I feel like I've already gone through the pain. Not too worried today. Shambles of a season

Same,  if we’re one nil up and Everton are drawing with 5 minutes to go though I might show signs of life.

I feel absolutely nothing towards it, have hardly gave it a seconds thought all week, accepted months ago we were going down so if we do stay up it’s a bonus but I just want this shambles of a season to be over.

The players don’t care a single bit so it’s hard to have any kind of hope when it means nothing to them.

Funny feeling today - dread, nerves, excitement, sadness......

Last time in a LCFC shirt for a few today. Feels like the end of an era.  Lets hope the monks have been praying hard. Lets hope the players put in a shift and come on Bournemouth!!!!!!

I’ve felt better since accepting it. In fact, I’ve started to look forward to visiting new grounds and actually winning some matches.

It's a weird one your last comment (winning, not grounds). I agree with it however we're not a side who's struggled for years like Everton for example. That sort of attitude would fit well, a bit of a stale club that may need to go down to spring back up with a freshness about them. But we've had plenty of wins over the last few years, which makes our situation today really hard to swallow. We're more than capable of winning a solid number of matches across the season

I tried that and just as you are about to drift off z... Amartey to their striker and it's 1-0 and you scream yourself awake again

We can’t stay up on previous seasons success. This season Everton have been the better side. They even managed to beat arsenal when both sides were at the extreme ends of the table. We’ve had about 3-4 good performances.
