Howe is a little bit the victim of his own success. He came in and somehow got average players playing top 4 standard football… now that the form has run off, those players are back to playing like they used to.  The injury’s have hit and he’s back relying on the almiron that grealish joked about playing like and a dan burn that runs in treacle.

They jumped up a few gears before their squad was fully  there. I genuinely believe our squad wasn’t too far from there’s at the start of last season. Football is truly fine margins

FA are having their fingers crossed the toon does the chop on Howe, leaves him available for the England job in the summer, for when Southgate steps aside.

bit extreme.  Would it do better than hodgson though?

I see the waffle about Liverpool being an unique club or free of the PL’s ugly side is being dismissive once again as they aim to buy another club and adopt the Man City multi club model

If they manage to beat Forest at their place at the weekend it could make things VERY fun. :pearson:

You beauty Ross! Perfect ball through.

Luton have been playing like this all season, albeit with varying degrees of success. Think it's about time they got some respect without the patronising edge that it always seems to come with. They've been a bloody good counter-attacking football team for a few seasons now and were knocking about the top 6 of the Championship on merit.

its Luton Forest on Saturday too, that will be a very interesting one

Forest will probably win. Last time Luton got through a good game they lost against Sheff Utd lol

It staying like this puts Notts Forest and Everton under further pressure, so it is win / win.
