if we are to be competitive in terms of the championship with this transfer window, we'll need two at least making the bench whilst bulking the rest of the squad with ready made players as it'll help reduce our wages. problem is braybrooke and Alves are out till January probably, so perhaps only space for Wormleighton and maybe Maswanhise and Madivadua if deemed good enough. Here's hoping

Thought theyd of got rid of the shite like Brunt. Bloke will be 23 this year and is never in a million years making it here. Appiah another Villa bum that should be gone. If you clearly arent good enough then its time to release and let the next crop have a crack, no good flogging a dead horse like this club does keeping academy players on until their 23

He still has 2 years left on his contract, thought he was decent in that Watford game but he didn't exactly shine in his other appearances, should loan him out to a League Two club this season, it isn't benefitting him hanging around on the sidelines at his age.

Riduculous contract if thats true. Was against a Watford C team. He should leave for the sake of his career if he actually wants one instead of being a grown man playing kids football

With the big clubs releasing their retained lists there quite a few players being released.  Any players that we can pick up to add to the u-21 squad ?

These should get minutes in the first team. 

 

One or more of McAteer, Madivadua and Maswanhise could receive some coaching from Maresca and staff to make the grade. McAteer looks to have made progress more but aside from good reports I don't know how much.

 

Not sure about Wormleighton. A lot is said about him but he's never stood out for me but then I've not watches as many games as I'd like.

 

I hope Rudkin has emphasised the need to work with these players, on top of Alves and Braybrooke when fit and injury free. They should be an essential part of the club for squad depth and finances.

We don’t really have any striking depth in the youth sides. Won’t take a lot to stand out, our current first team options are up in the air too.

Seems like the only one out of the youth that’s taking the off season seriously. 
most have been getting smashed in Ibiza, while Armani has been bulking in the gym. Definitely the one to watch.
