None of the above

Do you think we're going to be underwhelmed or pleased with who it's looking like will be appointed?

I've already voted, none of the above for me.

I just want an appointment that fills me with enthusiasm and optimism for the coming season. I'm beginning to wonder whether I'm asking too much of LCFC in it's present state.

None of the above names do anything for me.

Perhaps I shouldn't have renewed my season ticket as quickly as I did.......

The thing I like about Kieran McKenna is that he has the same philosophy as Brighton's Roberto De Zerbi as both practice tactics in their training workouts.

Both forcus on the weaknesses in the opposition team they are going to play and adjust the training accordingly to the next team they are going play

You can all stand down.  I’ve travelled to the future and it’s -- who else -- Stevie G.  I even found the press release, and it’s eerily familiar.  Except for a few minor details.

Whoever comes in has to be able to do 2 things.

A, get us promoted at the first attempt.

B, have the ability to keep us up for at least one season.

Out of that list, Parker seemed the best option. But I'm still hoping Potter comes.

I wonder what managers or agents of interested managers have contacted the club that we’re obviously not aware of?

I say this given the secretive nature of Rudskin and Whelan. That much we know.

trying to see this from another perspective we are not Leeds or Southampton. Given what we have achieved as a club and how we’ve achieved it the credit the potential and interest should be huge. If I was a talented and ambitious manager I would atleast hear what our club has to offer. Christ we still have plans in place to expand the stadium. I think we’ve all been too down in the dumps recently to have any positive outlook. I’m not saying that the execs won’t screw this up they certainly can given they got us relegated but we have to hope and pray they’ve learnt a big lesson. I don’t know maybe I’m just exhausted from all the pessimism and desperately hoping for some good news to cheer us all up. Gotta try atleast. I’ll pop back in next week to see if the mood has changed :)

Confession time - I knew very little about McKenna, and so turned my nose at him and didn't understand the high poll results.

So I did some reading and I must say, I am impressed!

He sounds like he has dedicated his whole life to coaching and is obsessed with the game and for a 37 year old, is very confident and assured in his ability and methods. Detest Mourinho, but for him to promote McKenna to first team coach alongside him at Man U, is certainly telling.

He also did a degree at Loughborough University and in his own words, took a step back from coaching at Spurs, to get this degree.

Losing only 4 times in League 1 this season is no easy feat either.

I am certainly more sold on him being the most exciting young coach around that we can get in, and now see why he has hype on here.

This was one of the articles I found and a very positive read

If it was Smith, you would imagine that he would've confirmed at the first opportunity that he was staying on.

Are these the only ones the Leicester board are interested in....or are there others that the board are secretly after?

If we knew that, it wouldn't be a secret

Why are we not going for Potter? This is like seeing a few girls at the bar and avoiding the one you want, because you think she’s out of your league. Sorry for the terrible analogy. But going for the less attractive mate doesn’t end well…

What about if you spend hours In that case, weeks in the manager case chatting buying drinks an she doesn't go home with you, meanwhile the less attractive one isn't even in the bar she's left with someone else. Buy all means buy Potter a drink but don't waste the whole night chancing your arm that you can persuade him to come to our club.

...no chance, they will  definitely  be salivating at the opportunity!!!

I would be surprised if they had other offers,  they will look to ride this out, even if they were the last option.

I just thought the guys in the know like @Sambiasso might have any ideas of who the board most likely will want or get

Personal opinion it'll be either Enzo or someone whose name hasn't been mentioned yet.

Smith if they both fall through.
