Surely that'll be the Johnson money? Otherwise, I can't see how they're making this work, this would be 60m outlay this window so far with a squad that's already massively bloated

Still probably only £15m in amortisation in the accounts for the year though. Its easy to blitz shit loads in the 1st few years of being in the PL.

Can we send Monaco Daka and Soumaré in exchange for that €35m?

We’ve just sold a 14 year old academy lad to Man City for over £1m.

Do you know if there was a sell on clause in the deal?

Forest sent Scarpa to Olympiakos on loan.

Odd move, thought he was one of their better players. Not that I mind it

He must have really impressed you in the 181 minutes he played last season

Because we sold our expensive players early so we could get business done early

Rather do it that way than be picked apart now like those 2 when other teams will know you are loaded and even more desperate for signings

They have taken longer for JWP and Lavia and Livermento but you could argue theyve got more money in for them 3 because of it- best part of £130 which is good going-  the rest of the players they sell are similar to our fringe players - seems like they have takers for some of theirs though which is a bit different to our situation as we dont seem to be able to shift any- leeds are not in a great place but at least they got most of their over payed expensive players out on loan early- again we cant even seem to do that- the fact the gaffer has to come out in a presser and say out loud we cant do anything till we move some on is still bonkers to me- our pricing or whatever dept deals with that part of the transfers out must be absolutely shocking at their jobs

They've shifted on Orsic who was barely fringe whilst we shifted Hirst. They don't seem to be any different to us in this regard. The only interest in their players I'm seeing is for Tella and Che Adams, not the shit nobody wants. Which is a given.

Spot on, we've been caught before of leaving it too late haggling for £10-15m.

Ironically we're now doing the same with our fringe players

A colleague is a Southampton fan doesn't expect a quick return to the premier league, mid table and slow rebuild, seems less enthusiastic about their chances of replacing the departures in two weeks with a championship winning squad than some on here seem to think. They'll spend wisely no doubt we'll run club.

Leeds are a basket case and their new owners are clueless, rumblings that Farke isn't happy!

Whisper it quietly, but....Dangerous hints of a board that, gasp, know what they're doing!

I don't think we're haggling for 10-15 million on any player (frankly, we'd be lucky to get that much for any of our players apart from Castagne, nacho and maybe daka), if we're even haggling at all.  By all accounts, no one is bidding.
