Is it a number 1 Goalkeeper we're after or a Backup to Iversen. ?

I assume Ward will be off elsewhere also.

It’s most definitely a new number one. It wouldn’t surprise me if Iversen is sold to be honest.

If he's gone to Burnley then how is this still open? Unless he's being loaned to us after he's signed by Burnley.

99th minute penalty save to win the Euros? Come to Leicester lad.

At one point we had a great reputation for bringing through England goalkeepers. Been a while though.

Good idea. I'll start one with a poll. So would we rather have Pilau, Basmati, Egg fried???

Not a good Idea.

It goes against the grain.

How much do you think the buy back is?

The 15m + 4m add-ons refers to Burnleys costs to Man C not the buy back surely.

That but back clause is crap for Burnley lol

The buyback is effectively the same as the purchase

a glorified extended free loan!

Evidence of why we didn’t buy Doyle ?????

Suggests City weren’t overly keen on selling him but the money offered was too good.

They’ll only buy him back if he ends up being world class anyway. You’d hope they wouldn’t buy back for £15m and then immediately sell for more. Seems a bit malicious 😅

The 20% sell on clause seems to indicate they wouldn’t I suppose.

It's written in a rather poor way, but it's still pretty clear. Obviously not clear enough lol

The buy back clause won't be what they paid for him, I've heard reports that it would be in the region of £45million but no one will ever really know

Hold on…..

So they’ve spent £19m on him.

The Buyback Clause is £15m + £4m in add ons.

Man City also get 20% of the next sale.

So if they buy him for £15m now, they get £3m back due to the % of next sale. So he cost them £12m?

They can then re-sell him again, to another club, hence not paying any further add ons?

The deal is £15m + £4m in add-ons, included in that deal is a 20% sell on fee and a buy back option
