I'd honestly back myself for this.

When Meslier came onto the scene, he was incredibly highly rated by Leeds fans. Then spent most of the end of the season when they were in the Prem picking the ball out the back of the net.

Hermansen had a few good saves this season against high profile teams, but in the games that's mattered he's been nowhere.

He's a player we should 100% cash in on, rip another team off for a decent whack of money and use Stolarcyzk.

That’s because you are correct

Why Meslier is among the league's best goalkeepers

Suspect there may be multiple clubs interested in him which should hopefully push the price up. Obviously Chelsea are favourites with the Enzo connection but Man United need a keeper and Ederson is increasingly injury-ridden so Man City could be an option.

Wherever he goes I think he'll be a success. Seems to have a great mentality as well as the physical attributes for a modern keeper.

KEEPING UP APPEARANCES

CHELSEA'S goalkeeper dilemma shows no sign of slowing.

The Blues have asked about Burnley keeper James Trafford, who is expected to leave Turf Moor this summer - despite their promotion back to the Premier League.

Newcastle look likely to beat the west Londoners to his signing, having failed in a move for the England Under-21 international last summer.

But Chelsea have asked the question in the hope they may be able to pull something off.

Maresca is in a bind over what to do between the posts, with EIGHT stoppers on the club's books.

Borussia Dortmund keeper Gregor Kobel is also being eyed.

Swiss star Kobel, 27, has established himself as first choice over his four years since arriving from Stuttgart in a £13m move.

But Kobel, who has just one year left on his Dortmund contract, is ready for a change of scenery.

Dortmund are steeling themselves for his departure, having already signed Diant Ramaj, currently on loan at Copenhagen from Ajax, on a four-year deal that starts this summer.

That indicates Dortmund, who took midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka on loan from Chelsea in January, will be willing to do a £15m-plus deal.

Robert Sanchez has spent most of this season as first choice at the Bridge and pulled off two vital stops in the weekend win over Everton.

The former Brighton man has still to convince the Blues faithful, who are equally uncertain about Filip Jorgensen, who has made six Prem starts.

Former Spain keeper Kepa is due to return from his loan spell at Bournemouth, Marcus Bettinelli has been the unused third choice this term.

Another loanee due back is Djordje Petrovic, who has impressed at Strasbourg, while the Blues also have Lucas Bergstrom and Eddie Beach and have signed Genk teenager Mike Penders for next season.

Ridiculous that he has kept playing him if he was injured when there was no need to

Straight from the Brendan Rodgers Masterclass of management

Bottom for launched in the league for passes over 40 feet

Which I guess is tactical but also a reflection of his ability. He’s like the inverse Kasper

Personally don't like how he stays on his line permanently at set pieces. What Jacob offers is the ability to use his hands (remember when that was important) and come and collect/punch better than Mads. I am looking forward to Stolarczyk having the last few games to be honest as expect he will be number 1 in the Champ when we cash in on Mads.

Like Mads but don't think he's been at top level this calendar year.

He's too good for the Champ, not that I want to openly sell but he's our biggest asset so hopefully the injury doesn't hinder that. I highly rate Stolarczyk too and happy to have him number one next season without Mads.

Alot of the top teams are looking for a gk, but never see Mads name linked to any of them. I think the club would want to cash in, but cant see him going for big money.

I'm not convinced Mads goes in the summer, if there's a position you'll manage to keep a player in, it's goalkeeper, solely for the lack of other opportunities.

Chelsea is always mentioned due to Enzo, but they will have Petrovic back this summer, Mike Penders from Genk and Kepa back from Bournemouth.

Maybe someone like Leverkusen could be an interested party, maybe Bournemouth to replace Kepa, or West Ham?

I'm 50/50 on whether he's here next season.

Man U could be a shout if they do away with Onana.

Potentially, but is he a clear upgrade? Feel like he has many of Onana's weaknesses and they'd likely look for an experienced keeper instead.

We will see, but I can see him going to the continent rather than staying in the Premier League

Yeah, in my mind chelsea was all but guaranteed, but you make some great points and I'm also less sure now lol

Maybe 2 more years with us, then Ederson and Allison are both 34 ish. Assuming he develops, he could be a ready made replacement for either.

Either way, I'm pretty chill about the keeper situation. If he stays that's fine, if he goes and we get a fair price then that's also fine.

I'm in the mindset that he NEEDS to go. He's our biggest saleable asset. We can't afford to keep him. Plus, I would much rather him go than BEK or Fatawu. Stolarcyk is good enough to be our first choice.

I love Mads, I think last year he showed a level of play with his feet that we've never seen close to before at Leicester, and he's shown this season (at least pre injury) that he's a great shot stopper.

I fear, a little like Pickford, he will just be a little too small and not dominant enough to be in the top tier of goalkeepers. That might benefit us!

I love how the social media team have reassured us daily that Jakub will be starting. Just in case any of us still have PTSD from the thought of Ward being named no.1

His selections have been that baffling, I'm half expecting him not to play Vardy against Ipswich

Still wouldn't be as weird as when Rodgers dropped Kasper for 1 random game after 149 consecutive appearances lol

He will go Chelsea Enzo loves him

Not even linked and he loved KDH whilst at Leicester who has made one start all season in the league for Chelsea.

You could argue they are stacked with midfielders, but they will be stacked with goalkeepers next season.
