General Managers hire specialists to do certain tasks and listen to the advice those specialists offer.

Ok. So then you let these specialists have a free hand, regardless of whether or not they are making huge mistakes 👍

Administration ripping off a load of small businesses wasnt particularly pretty.

Neither was Mandaric using agents to flog unwanted players our way.

The pre payment to secure your season ticket over covid lockdown - which the club had to be lobbied in order to make the £80 refundable or a donation to charity was another low un.

Plenty I can pick at the more aesthetic stuff - but I’ve bored most to tears with that over the last 24 hours

No Leicester fans ever complained about the owners before the internet, obviously.

Worse, no one has ever done it on this forum - until now.

Ooh team loses a friendly shock!!!!!!

It's not the losing that's a huge issue,  as friendlies are to be taken with a pinch of salt, however, at the same time, we haven't looked convincing in that game, or the win at Northampton.

When your going through such a rebuild, you need to be getting a few games under your belt against teams of a similar quality.

What good is playing teams that you won't be coming up against, in climates that you won't be playing in.

Feels a bit like we'll be going into the Cov game completely blind but hopefully I'm wrong.

Removing the legends banner around the stadium and replacing it with King Power branding really annoyed me

Also removing all the Kop flags that had been built up 14-17 due to “safety reasons”, the end looked really unique at one point

You may have been told safety reasons but 80% up there were made by UFS who pulled them down after some in the support pinched a few.
Was a shame as I also really liked the colour and creativity it brought.

He’s not a scout, it’s got absolutely nothing to do with him. You REALLY want a man who isn’t a scout deciding who we do and don’t sign?

Perhaps he should pick the team as well, seeing as he’s meant to oversee all football operations.

Perhaps he could assess the players injuries as well, you know, considering he’s meant to oversee everything football related.

Or…. Perhaps they are left to the people employed to do those exact things eh.

I get it now, you place someone in a position that he is not responsible for questioning his underlings when they seem on course to be making massive errors of judgment costing our Club zillions.   Thanks for clearing that up.  Good night.

Such a shame. the flags gave a very plain vanilla stadium some character and individuality. I hope those who put them up reconsider and feel that they won't get nicked

Was their ever a plausible theory as to why Mandaric chose to waste money on picking up players as a favour?

Mandaric would never do anything unless it benefitted him.

How is he meant to know ffs. That’s not how it works, how does he know the doctor make a wrong diagnosis, or the manager picked the wrong tactics (before the game), or whether a signing is going to be good or not when he’s not a specialist in those areas.

Filming with body cameras our own fans being forced to pick up away tickets.

Refusing entry to children with their parents to away games as they dont have ID.

These two for me are the biscuit.

So many City fans are now just King Power fans first and foremost, any sort of criticism of the club is batted away. It doesn't make you less of fan to call the club out for incompetence. Fans shouldn't be subservient to the club.

Was he not at the 0-9 game? If not, he needs to change his personal research engines.   I am finished with this tennis match.  Opinions are like ar*e holes,  everyone has one.  Ours differ. Gute nacht - gut Schlafen und auf wienerhoren.

On this occasion it’s pretty clear I am. In your scenario he’s the expert on signings, not the actual experts… presumably you’d also be fine with him picking players for the first team the scouting team and manager haven’t wanted then?

The 9-0 game whereby we played against 10 men for the majority of it. Other teams have got pummelled before with good players in their teams, individual players aren’t to blame lol
