Scotch Posted 6 August 2023 Posted 6 August 2023 Could very well be a player who predominantly plays RM but offers an option as an #8 as he apparently can play centrally. Similair to Nanasi potentially on the other side. 1
Haywood_6 Posted 6 August 2023 Posted 6 August 2023 A few rumours going around were in for him now so must be some truth to it.
FrankieADZ Posted 6 August 2023 Posted 6 August 2023 rental......well i hope we dont have a late fee if we get him
Popular Post lfu Posted 6 August 2023 Popular Post Posted 6 August 2023 Here's what a Galatasaray fan thinks of him Quote He had a very good season at Adana ( you can see them as Newcastle rn) and he played very good there. Last season he started as our starting right winger and there were high hopes, he was very good in the pre season but when the league started we began to see some problems. We had seferovic, mertens and Kerem who dont defend, so we needed atleast one attacker who would track back and Rashica was the only one capable of doing this so he had to start and Yunus had to be a back-up. Yunus is very good in playing with and off the striker, begin of the season we had no good striker so we could not use Yunus effective and play to his strenghts. He is coming from our youth and hes expected to score and assist every game, i think mentally this was difficult for him to cope with. Everybody would be excited/madd about every single good and badd pass. The coach found a formule where we are using the left side to create and right side is to bomb up and down, Yunus is not somebody to bom up and down but is more suited to a team playing possesion football in opponents half and he likes to dribble and play possesion. Kerem is playing as an inside forward so we needed somebody on the right who would hug the sideline, Yunus likes to dribble from out to in, so that made us very predictable. Essentially we had to choice between Kerem Akturkoglu as our starter or Yunus, Kerem is undropable and the only left winger we had so Yunus had to sit in the sub. I believe the best thing for him is to leave Galatasaray and start somewhere fresh. He has raw qualities and he needs the place to show this. 2 4
Jaspa Posted 6 August 2023 Posted 6 August 2023 Seems to have great awareness, looking for the best option even while under pressure in the box. I'm just wary of anything Turk Lig, Hull have gone with loads of Turkish lads under their new ownership with Ozan Tufan being a coup, they certainly haven't been competitive in this League. 1
James_lcfc Posted 6 August 2023 Posted 6 August 2023 The best YT video of any of the wingers linked so far. …which of course means everything.

Real Madrid have just signed the Turkish Wonderkid, Arda Guler, from Fenerbace. Do you think they know what they're doing?

If this lad looks like being half as good as Guler we should double what we’re offering. Not sure we’re operating in the same circles as them when it comes to Turkish talent, though. We’re probably closer to Hull unfortunately!

He struggled. I think at this level, he could be a punt. Looks relatively quick, skilful, got good long range shooting ability but he's also a creative winger. 3 and a half jeffries out of 5. 4 1
