Someone definitely replied to me once saying Jakub was his equal, and there were a few who alluded to us 'being fine' if we just put Stolarczyk in – but I don't think I've ever seen anyone claim he's better.

probably the same person/people who wanted that bum from germany that we signed  to replace kasper

I still think Mads’ distribution is a tad inconsistent. That was exposed last season when we dominated possession and always played out of the back; not so much in the PL where we’re panic defending most of the time and hoofing it long. That might make him a little bit of a tougher sell to the really elite sides, who prioritize a keeper’s ball skills above everything else.

The best get caught out. Every manager who plays this talks about risk/reward. Mads is top notch with his feet and shows little fear in difficult situations or when he gets it’s wrong. In a possession heavy PL side, he will be the absolute nuts.

His distribution against Arsenal was pretty poor, but I’m not sure it would have mattered much with how Cooper set us up. Plus, he was getting absolutely peppered in goal.

He’s overall pretty good with his feet and at our level, it’s not an issue. But if you want to start talking about 60 million for a keeper, the few sides that would pay that are going to prioritize distribution above all else. Generally they play the better “11th field player” as their first choice keeper over the better shot-stopper.

He's very comfortable on the ball, sometimes makes the wrong decision but he's still young. Ederson and Allison who come under much less pressure still make errors, it's part of being asked to play like an outfield player. He can be slow do make decisions when the ball is coming into the box which has got him in trouble a fair few times as well.

Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal and likely Chelsea will definitely be eyeing him up as a potential long term solution. If they can crack the decision making they'll have a top quality keeper for 8-9 years.

He’s a very young keeper, there won’t be many keepers as good as him at shot stopping and his feet in the world.

If I’m a big team looking for a long term keeper, there aren’t many better.

New contract, £60mill buyout clause, relegation reduction to £40mill. Chelsea or Mancs to pay. Maybe even Arsenal, we'll see how it all pans out.

With the Rutter fee, that works out given a keeper can stay for 10+ years.

Apparently Mads is going to be on the next episode of Golf Life, Tubes from Soccer AM's Youtube show, if anyone is interested.

Is it one question only?
