Cracking sub from another appalling manager. Shame Gary Gary Rowett couldn't get them fighting like the way they did for the last 45 against Hull.

Pathetic owners

Pathetic players bar JJ

Pathetic Manager

To think I had some people on here claiming he was a great appointment to me when I said his appointment all but confirmed relegation

Make him play the last two

He'd only claim his appearance fee.

No reason to play any player that is leaving this summer.

Ok well I want him to have to travel for both games.

I know Huth took some stick last night from his social media post, but good to hear him call out Winks just now on Talksport.

What did he post?

How would it keep us interested?

I'm sorry but anyone that went to the game thinking we had any chance of staying up is living in cuckoo land.

I'm not sure if you've got your head in the sand but we've won once since the 5th of January.

"Would have been game on" - Do me a favour.

Point still stands mate. Booing one of your own players during a match has never been a good thing. Whatever level, whatever stakes are being played for.

Btw my head isn’t in the sand. I criticise the team. I think Winks has been an embarrassment to his profession considering he’s fallen out with almost every manager. But whilst this was the longest shot, a win would’ve kept the season alive and we were one goal away from that. I’m just stating a fact.

I don’t think he will leave, even if he drops to £40k with relegation he’s not getting that elsewhere after the last 2 years. Particularly with his reputation for disruption and no club north of Milton Keynes or west of Reading being suitable for his commute.

Last night seemed very supportive of Top and Rudkin, but just now basically said players lap up the praise from the fans when all is going well so should accept criticism when they are deserving of it. Went on to say that's the most fight he's seen from Winks all season.

Everyone has different opinions but this is 100% for sure none of those players (bar james) deserve our gratitude or appreciation..

Absolutely cringeworthy anyone should expect a fan to go along with this self destruction

It's not a fact, it's an opinion and one that I strongly disagree with.

What makes you think that Harry Winks cares about whether he is booed or cheered?

This team is beyond repair. Booing shows everyone that that behaviour is entirely unacceptable.

I will say to Winks credit, fair play for not hiding last night. The guy's got some stones on him.

Far cry from Chilly being scared to take a throw in at Millwall lol

Why don't we all have a whip around for the players to send them a sympathy card and gifts to lessen their pain

I would have tended to agree in years gone by, but think this argument loses a lot of credibility when you consider it’s widely recognised the second half performance yesterday was as good as it’s been in a long time and that was after every player (bar JJ) was booed from various sections of the support as the team was read out and subs were booed as they were warming up and brought on.

If anything it proves it should have been far more vociferous far earlier in the season and perhaps we might have seen some progress before it was too late.

For me the Winks sub changed the game. I actually think it was the right sub at the right time.. but for me, this one was on the fans. As soon as he came on, the atmosphere changed from upbeat and a little hope to absolute toxicity as they booed his every touch!

I cant stand the little rat and im all for booing him on and off .. but whilst the team were playing in my opinion is shambolic. They immediate looked like they were bricking it anf ultimately fvcked up again

You've let him know you dont want him there and rightly so.. but hes on and you cant change it.. let him play and then burn him at the stake after

But, it was obvious that would be the case and why he shouldn’t have been in the squad.

I did wonder if he should have been looked to get rid of him after the ‘we miss you Enzo’ sign. With hindsight now we absolutely should have done.

What happened to the people saying we should pick Winks to give ourselves the best chance of staying up? It was painfully obvious that it was a stupid idea and the damning win stats when he's played back that up. No manager was getting a tune out of him, only Harry Winks was going to decide if Harry Winks could be arsed.

The stupidity of our fanbase knows no bounds.

I normally don't agree with boo'ing players but in the circumstances I'm not going to frown, look down on or tell other fans not to boo this ***** for a whole variety of reasons.

Appreciate this bloke probably has hide of a rhino but he needs to know he's not welcome here and needs to **** off

Being shambolic - This board and these players have already created the shambles.

Boo'ing the dickhead on and when he takes a corner is the very least of a totally shambolic situation

He plays better when we boo him I reckon.

With someone like Fergie as boss, he would have been out on his ear immediately. Sends completely the wrong message to the rest of the squad that you keep re-integrating a player who has fallen out with successive bosses.
