I would love Vestergaard to post on his Instagram f**k off Cooper.

I imagine he's classier than that

He’s ok and that’s about it.

Strengths can ping a nice long pass down the channels

Weaknesses are obvious

Way too slow for a prem player, and not brilliant in the air considering his height.

Half decent? 🤣

He was excellent last season. I loved his redemption story. Finally played to his strengths by a manager who knew what he was doing. Feeling nostalgic for the latter already.

Helps that he was playing in the Championship.

He's awful (as is Faes).

I want more from a centre half than just being able to pass the ball. He isn't great in the air (considering his height), not particularly strong and slower than a lorry.

First goal we conceded at Fulham summed him up. Pushed up, didn't win the ball and then couldn't get back.

Vesty looked very good against Spain yesterday, putting in a solid and consistent display, just like we saw from him during the Enzo turnover season. I’d be quite surprised if he doesn’t feature in the squad again.

good, Okoli's pace at the back has become important for us so if he gets back in it will be for Faes IMO and I'm not sure that will happen anytime soon

I still think Okoli is a better all round option. He might not have the passing ability of vesty but everything else he’s as good as, if not better at. Better for the club as well if he can play more, impress and sell him on for a big profit.

His problem now is both Okoli and Faces are both quicker around the Box and are developing an understanding.

As you say, I wouldn't be holding my breath waiting for Cooper to pick him.

yeah it doesn't really matter which of him or Coady is on the bench and no real need for both

Agreed, but would you rather have Coady over Vesty on the bench?

He was excellent playing for a superior  team in an inferior division.  He reads the game well & is a lovely passer but playing for an inferior team in a superior division would expose his lack of mobility.

He played for the inferior team vs Spain Saturday and were an excellent leader. Don’t get the need to make him seem worse than he is.

International football & Premier league football are worlds apart & he would be targeted & exposed in the Prem. No-one is making him worse than what he is ... people are telling the truth.  He lacks pace & mobility !!!

Not a guaranteed starter but worthy of a place on the bench.

It’s a straight toss up between him and Coady For a spot on the bench. I’d say Vestergaard is probably just behind Coady interns if what he brings to the whole squad.

How do you know that, Coady has hardly ever played for us either due to injury or not getting picked. The only form you can go on is before he came to Leicester and that's a long time ago now, certainly Premiership wise! In comparison, albeit Championship, Vestergaard was one of our players of the season last year and has a better history than Coady in terms of Premier League and international football where he still represents his country well.

The guy was one of our best players last season, is comfortably up there so far this season as one of Denmarks best players. He looked the most comfortable of all the defenders against Spurs.

There is a good footballer there and at least he can pass a ball, one thing we seem to be struggling to do at the moment.  How Coady is suddenly ahead of him in peoples minds is beyond me.  Did no one else watch the Palace game?

Coady has played nearly double the amount of Premier League games, captained Wolves in most of them and in those seasons Wolves were finishing much higher in the league table.

Vestergaard never finished higher than 11th in the Premier League with Southampton. Coady finished 7th twice with Wolves.

I don't really want either here if I'm honest but if you're going with their time before Leicester than Coady has had the better career in England.
