Heard his BBC Radio Leicester interview in the pre-match build up and it spoke volumes for me.

Couldn’t answer Owynn’s question on why things were not going well. There was a line in there about how much quality there was in the squad, cliches about training having gone up a notch with the new arrivals, needing to work harder to put this right etc etc. Referred to King as ‘Kingy’ throughout…

If there was a ‘going through the motions’ interview, this was it. Got the sense he was pretty checked out.

If we were supposed to get the popcorn out then I can only assume if was for a horror.

Sorry I delivered that line like some smug ITV commentator of the 90s

Pretty appalling stats for a winger who played against 10 men for around 60 mins

To some on here he had his best game of the season. Very telling. I thought he had his usual 4/10 performance.

Just realised you were talking about the Birmingham winger, but point still stands about mavididi.

Bang average before we signed him…. Bang average and carried by others after we signed him.

Not sure anybody can be surprised by how shite he actually is

Least of our problems

Most players would use this sort of stuff as motivation to knuckle down and up their game. Seems our soft lot go into immediate defensive mode because their egos taking a battering. Most of them have been talking shite all season.. “wait and see”. Shut up and do your talking on the pitch you bunch of fannies

The peak of his career was winning the championship with us. Bit part player who  goes missing when the going gets tough

Yes I was on about the Birmingham Winger, basically gets gifted a goal and plays twice the amount of mins then Mavididi with 2/3rds of that against ten men and they use that as a plus, as poor as Mavididi has been that’s embarrassing from the Birmingham admin

To be fair to the lad, those running the club have admitted the same. Hes not on his own.

Especially as his goal was offered to him on a plate and didn't have to work for it.

Appreciate footballers are young guys and like most young guys social media is a big part of their life. But surely it cannot be doing any player much good to immediately mainline a load of online, often hostile reviews of their performance after a match. Go out for a meal, watch a film, bang your girlfriend…do anything to take your mind off football for a few hours.

You could easily forget he's been on the pitch for the majority of the season, he's been completely anonymous throughout.

At least his bothered.

This isn't the type of bothered that is good. This is just thin-skinned. Another summary of our squad.

Mavididi needs to go. He's had more bad games for us than good now.

This guy has been an absolute melt on X then. Took umbrage to a post on the official Birmingham account

Tbf, that was such a stupid post by the BCFC account. If we weren’t in such a horrible spot, we'd all be making fun of it.

I haven’t heard the interview but it might be that some of them do know why things are going well but don’t want to/can’t call out the guy paying them….

I’m probably wrong and they are thick and/deluded. But I wouldn’t expect a player to come out with ‘Top’s an incompetent nepo baby’ in an interview!

Lost his mojo a long time ago. It's as if we're playing with ten men with him on the pitch. He doesn't want to be in this league, probably thinks he deserves better.

Shame, because I think there's a very tidy player somewhere in there.

At least Fatawu is making himself heard.

Mavididi has been pretty much lacklustre all throughout this season so far. I count two (!) goals and one (!) assist.

Shambolic, shameful for a well-paid winger in the team with the highest payroll in the entire league.

The Enzo season I don’t even think he was THAT good.

18 goals and assists from 46 matches in the most dominant side this league has seen in terms of possession and squad quality. Thought he should’ve had more peak Gradel and Snodgrass stats TBH

I do like him as a player but neither he or Fatawu have been good enough this season to dedicate our whole attacking system to.

Both have shown moments of individual brilliance (Fatawu much more than Mavididi), but the formation needs to change and neither should not be automatic starters.
