Charity pick a number - Our Season finish position

I like giving to charities, the non woke kind so to add in a bit of random to my donation next year I figured this team in this league is one big unknown. I'll take the figures from the end of August and multiply the correct pick number by the number of correct pickers and donate £5 per spot on choice up to £1k. Polling ends 31st August 2023. It'll be interesting to see how accurate the predictions fall if nothing else and I'll be a bit poorer in pocket but enhanced of soul.

I tend to give either to the air ambulance or a local hospice.

I have travelled/worked all corners of this globe..whether I agree with Oxfams policies, & OTT admin management incomes & politicians hanging around like flies.

But They do get things moving..!!
 

Oxfam on the ground..are world wide,and go. In & on regardless.One has to see their work to believe it..One reason I spent sometime in VSO..helping on humbling areas,when asked..or using my skills to build/repair/instruction The world is trying to help itself,through such organisations, & excellent often needed pushers

who can get on the nerves of the guy on the street,blind stubborn home politicians,

or bigots,racists,discriminators leading nations,regions ,fanatical ( for themselves) warlords in areas called politically-sensitive,where trying to open the door to get through to people in need is beyond difficult Earthquake,famine,basic survival needs, basic medicine,or operations taken for granted in the west,

 

A foreign or ex-good neighbour helping caring hand.just to say I am here. People who humble themselves,to care & just give,to another human being. Also another kind of lift me up,is to „Peoples“ who are willing to help themselves,but don’t have the needs in small or big projects in creation,support, Medical redress,or starting the smallest of social need & support,still far below what we are likely to see around Western Europe..

Also sometimes just over our neighbours borders,or admist within our own…

Boundaries in this & many same organisations are non exsistance…

Easy targets for all sorts of palaver….

but go & try it oneself onetime or even sometime..Hey I was never well off or rich,the doors are open to all…There are no religious or political goals,so one isn’t pulled in for any other purpose.You make/give your own reason to yourself only..

Why not just mention you're donating to charity, and leave it at that ?

The fact people are that arsed about what he defines as woke charities really says a lot. It’s a good cause regardless, why are you crying, how about match the same to oxfam?
