More worried about the stuff he just about got away with than the goals.

Both are properly shite with the ball at their feet and I get no confidence from either with crosses / corners

 

I would look to sell Jakub and get a new number 1 in but I unfortunately expect it will be McCarthy as number 1 for the season

I would personally get rid, not that I dislike the bloke. He's just an average keeper who isn't able to play RM's style, so he's gonna sit the final year of his contract on the bench.

 

Get what we can, he'll do well for someone. 

 

Get Teddy Sharman-Lowe in.

GK is a huge problem position in the doomed Martin experiment, we've signed a goalkeeper who can't play out from the back and his reactions are slow (McCarthy), Stolarczyk isn't good enough and the Blackpool reserve is a waste of time. We need a new keeper, if we want to play this way. It's ridiculous. McCarthy transfer should have been vetoed and we should have known better, but given our recent transfer windows, it's completely on brand for this lot.

He is quicker with his feet than McCarthy, and i thought there were are least 2 good saves.

 

Dont think hes to blame for any of the goals really. But he was untidy with that incident with Aluko, and the corner where a soft foul was given on him.

Third not his fault, but at least do a jump to look like you're arsed. Also got away with one of his trademark pushes in to a dangerous area

There's little point if you know you are no where near it. Thats when you get your Danny Ward style photo.

McCarthy won’t last the full season as 1st Choice. He very rarely does. Stolarcyck is a better keeper, he’s at the stage in his career when he can improve and he’s better with his feet. I’m not saying Stolarcyck should be our number 1 in an ideal world but when he’s up against McCarthy and Blackpool’s 3rd choice keeper, he starts for me.
