Watching Hearts v PAOK

 

I think UEFA have absolutely been on the button in recent years, champions League revamp apart (tho tbf that was thro gritted teeth) .

 

The introduction of the conference league has created two - Conference and Europa - really interesting pan European events.

Shame for Hearts they are losing having been on top generally.

Been back home for the week and watched Aberdeen v Hacken in my old local pub. 

 

What a bounce when the 2nd went in 😁.  

 

European nights are special when you get a result. (queue a 1 nil win for hacken next week,) 

 

Come on you reds.....😍😍😍

AEK no mugs, Champions of Greece. You think these sides are poor until you play them and they're taking every chance.

 

Admittedly we beat these but sides who came here, Slavia Prague ect. Maybe not the prettiest but they'll find ways to get at you.

I still can't get over that Slavia game lol

 

No shame losing to these sides when you give it your best, but we completely limped out that night.

No Lewis Dunk probably didn't help.

 

Sounds like good job there was VAR  there working in good order but in the end didn't help Brighton get anything.

Yeah, thinking more generally! I knew we had good results against AEK and mixed vs Legia if I recall. But yeah the other teams not doing better than us, worse or equally as bad lol

Brighton and Villa both a bit flustered by it it seems. Villa were particularly awful in their game I thought although they ought to go through. Brighton have a chance of dropping out after last night.
