Quite surprising, he did well for Nice last season, I think he had 12 clean sheets and several motm, and player of the month awards.

I believe he was rated the 3rd or 4th best GK in Ligue 1.

He must have something lined up. A team that can't afford a transfer fee or can't get it done in time for the deadline.

Better not be Celtic; I'm hoping to enjoy their Rodgering.

You can still sign out of contract after the window can’t you?

Yeah even if he doesn't join anyone today he can just hang around for a bit and see what options come up and join anytime now

Kasper is the past. We are building for the future and he doesn´t fit in to what Enzo is trying to build here. And we seem to have enough goalkeepers :) So no thanks....

we would have stayed up if he had stayed, cheers.

Goal keeper would have kept us up? He did nothing to turn round Youri for the year previous. Mads and Barnes played when they wanted because he left. Brendan's tactics changed to be so boring and in effective because he left.

He could not command his own box.

So you comment is so wrong. Yes he was great for us, but never a shilton or Banks. He had flaws that we played around. He was never the super hero like many has become since he left.

He was not a one man team some seem to think.

Hard disagree.

As a back up option I think it should be something we consider.

Wow 18 keepers and 24 wingers in our squad. I guess we won't be playing it through midfield then.

Just his leadership, probably would have had more of an effect than Rodgers management, I don't believe my comment is so wrong.

If Kasper was here his leadership alone would have kept us up, huge loss.. I wouldn't have him back now unless in a coaching role mind.

He's a great shot stopper which always gets good headlines. He was a leader for us as well which we did lack last season. Given how close we were to survival whilst being awful and having goalkeeping issues he may have kept us up.

I heard the rumour Rogers wanted to move towards Ward as number one because he was better at commanding his area and given the number of headed goals we conceded that would make sense.

Wouldn't fit in with what Maresca wants. We've signed a relatively short keeper (by Prem standards) on the basis he can distribute like a midfielder. Whether we'll re-access the priorities if we go up and have a lot less of the ball we'll see.
