I didn't see any black, brown, oriental, LGTB+, binary people on that board.  Not very representative of our fans, no deal.

Why dont you apply then.

Whilst I don’t get to matches as often as I’d like to now, bringing Leicester to the consciousness of my two young girls

I think you'll find that's the case with many fans with young families and other commitments

Well said Davie! Gutted my first comment in this thread isn't a joke like usual lol

Majority of foxes trust aims are regarding matchgoing fans. Why is a lawyer who has said he doesn't even attend matches anymore suddenly found himself part of the boardlol

It was not a main reason for his co-option (we have previously had lawyers on the board but not for several years, so it was a clear skills gap), but as the majority of the FT board are season ticket holders, it is better representation of the fan base to have some board members who hold LCFC membership only.

One of the documents on our website is an equal opportunities statement which was created when we formed and recently reviewed.

In terms of race, no members (as described above) have stepped forward to declare an interest in a board position for many years, when we initially formed Raj Cheema played a key role in dialogue with the administrator when consortiums were being evaluated.

There's a big problem here.  Increasingly the foxes trust has the role of a supporters trust liaising with the club... and may even have a statutory role in the future.  Yet they guys are self appointed and may not represent the views of supporters.

They look like a load of people engraciating themselves with the club.

They are secretive (unable to give clear answers to reasonable questions) and failed to hold the club to account.

Their role should be challenged.

How do you know they don’t ‘represent the views of supporters? There’s about 50,000 of us.

Perhaps the Club is as unwilling to engage with the Trust as it is with media. It has a very secretive culture. No one minded when we were today’s Brighton between 2015 and 2021. Now we do mind because of where we stand.

But go ahead and challenge them. Join them, apply to take an official role. Start representing supporters. It’s totally up to you.

It’s time we had a drive for a democratic and wider membership trust … the government are planing legislation that could make body’s like this critical to the running and protection of the Club, looking at this board of director I have NO confidence they will represent me or the fans adequately

I think people should wake up to this before it’s too late

£10 to join so I'm going to do just that. When I tried to create an online membership I received an error message saying 'Error! Nonce Security Check Failed!'

I am relieved to see that in this context nonce is some tech thing. Nevertheless, not the best start to my relationship with @Foxes_Trust!

I think it cant be representative congenitally.  By putting myself forward I would be as bad as the current lot.  I think we need a truly democratic organisation.   Look at these new guys.... any one know what their agenda is?

They're voted in by members of the Foxes Trust, if you want to influence that you only have to join.

Surely that requires more members and you can't force fans to be members. If you make it a free vote for any fan without membership you'll have fans of other clubs messing up the vote.

Come up with a solution.

But what about all those 'I used to be fan but now only attend games once a season so I can't be a member clubs a shambles mate it's a joke' types. Best way is surely becoming a trust member, Labour managed to flood the membership and get Corbyn is as leader, I think (?), you should start a similar revolution at the Trust!!!

So if you're not a ST holder or member but a life long fan who for whatever reason can't get to games you'd have to pay the clubs membership fee, £10 would be cheaper.

If ST holders and members have not joined the Trust already I don't think the £10 admin fee is stopping them.

The truth is probably that during the last 10 years the vast majority of fans didn't need a Trust they were happy with whatever the club did. Now it's seemingly deteriorated to be a match going fan people are coming out of the woodwork to complain that the Trust is toothless, well of course it is the fans haven't had any need for it so it doesn't have sufficient   members to put pressure on the club.

Or just not have a music stage?

Or that bingo announcer guy on the stage who doesn't realise the microphone amplifies his voice and he doesn't need to SHOUT EVERYTHING
