I’ve no hate for him. My question is, do people really think Enzo (and his style of play, with reliance on players such a Vestergaard) can give us the best chance of survival, with the quality of opposition we will face week in week out, with little or no money to spend, and an eight point deduction?

If it’s Enzo or uncertainty, there really is no contest.

Oh did the club announce its transfer budget today?

did the PL announce an 8 point deduction without right to appeal today?

Are those really the only two options? Feels a little limiting…

If he stays he's getting a new deal and do you trust the imbeciles at the club to not do the same again?

I would his first act of demanding change of the Board to be limiting excessive contracts to managers.

Not sure I agree with that. Good timing to do the change now tbh. Plenty of time to plan and implement.

I think it’s a fact we will have a small budget.

We will have a points deduction.

How do the Enzo out brigade square the fact that a club of Chelsea’s stature are serious about him?

Chelsea isn't a particularly serious club currently, wouldn't use them to prove your point

Agree with this, with loan players gone, out of contracts too, there’s enough scope for a coach to recruit to a different style of play. We are going to have to maximise our resources to have a chance of staying up and need a coach who can work in that way.

Are people really desperate for him to leave ? What???? I don't get the hate for him.

It's more not being desperate for him to stay. Certainly not for a mega new contract and more power. Which everything points towards happening in return.

People are using words like baffling for so many not being a massive fan of his, but it would surely be more baffling to suddenly ignore all of his shortcomings that were so prevent for the past few months just because we eventually did achieve exactly what we should have done anyway. It would have been an absolute embarrassment to not go up with that team.

I could write pages worth of issues I have with his philosophy and how I don't think without serious reconsideration he's going to get anywhere with us.

It feels like all the defending people did of Brendan as we slowly capitulated.

Unless they an almost carbon copy of Enzo, then we will inevitably be less prepared, and if they are, what’s the point in changing.

Plenty of time for a new strategy, going into the new season.

That would be why I said training and not tactics then

That’s true. It’s also not what you said.

you said 0 money and 8 points as if they were facts.

I don’t understand why people are making such deterministic judgements on Leicester’s chances next season, or indeed Maresca’s chances to do well, given:

We don’t know what the deduction will be

we don’t know how much we’ll spend

we don’t know who we’ll sell or buy

we don’t know if incomings will be good or not

Because the change may well be forced upon us. I’m not scared of this, in fact I think it does us a favour
