And the scenario is that North Korea attacks the USA with 2 nukes, the USA responds with a nuke strike, the Russians then launch their nukes when their hair trigger defence system spots that the USA have launched and they can't tell exactly where the missiles are going, so the USA then launch the rest of their nukes at Russia. Hilarity ensues... Listened to her on Adrian Chile's earlier this week. She made a poor guest. Listening to her made wistful for a four minute warning siren 1
Lionator Posted 13 April 2024 Posted 13 April 2024 Does anyone follow Gary Stevenson (the trader guy)? His analysis of society is mad but eerily accurate.

UniFox21 Posted 13 April 2024 Posted 13 April 2024 Jordan shutting it's air space tonight as Israel and Iranian tensions grow

But the government will be able to say they retaliated. 1

Israel's response will be what dictates how quickly this all goes south.

Israel’s response will be reflective of how much of an attack this becomes if it’s just fifty drones that are easily dealt with before they arrive then I doubt there will be too much reaction. If there are some missiles launched in a couple hours to catch up the drones then it’s extremely dangerous and will drive a response.

st albans fox Posted 13 April 2024 Posted 13 April 2024 (edited) There is a small chance that there is some co ordianation and the Iranians have notified the Americans which are the Israeli govt targets and their expectation is that few missiles/drones will get through. the Iranians can look to their domestic audience to be tough and the Israelis can appear to be restrained in their response it’s a small chance but we need to hope that it’s what’s happening one last thing - a while ago I posted that it wouldn’t surprise me to see Iran continue to poke the Israelis because they need netenyahu to retain his position. The last thing Iran wants is a new Israeli govt that might seek to find a way forward in a two state solution. That doesn’t suit them at all. And we know netenyahu wants the conflict to continue for his own personal reasons - who knows if this is actually part of some huge game of posturing which suits both the Iranian and current israeli govts. Free Falling Foxes Posted 13 April 2024 Posted 13 April 2024 Channel surfing the news channels and an awful lot of them have a live feed of the Tel Aviv skyline. I get why this is the case but I find its like a form of voyeurism. I imagine many are watching in anticipation of explosions - all from the comfort of your own living room. War, 21st century style. 1
foxy boxing Posted 13 April 2024 Posted 13 April 2024 No doubt Trump is loving this as threats from Iran make Biden seem week and enhances Trumps election chances.

Trav Le Bleu Posted 13 April 2024 Author Posted 13 April 2024 The attack is expected to reach Israel by 2 am. Are these the slowest missiles ever? Hardly a 4 minute warning! A little under 1000 miles, these missiles are traveling at approximately 330 mph, which means they're being comfortably overtaken by jet liners.

But staggered launch it seems to arrive at similar time. Drones, cruise and now ballistic.

And according to Iran, this launch of drones etc is their response to the Damascus attack and they consider the matter closed. (Assuming no Israeli response) 1
