In a way I think he's the perfect captain for us. If what you're after is someone who exemplifies what we're about as a club - consistent low performance on and off the pitch with zero standards, accountability or ambition to improve - you'd struggle to find a better fit.

He was very much part of the problem today. His side was attacked at will, we were dominated on our right . He showed no urgency with the ball, slowed the game down. Hamza plays football like it’s netball. When he gets the ball he literally stops like you aren’t allowed to move with the ball anymore. At one point in the first half he was presented with the ball in space and unmarked with Fatawu ahead of him and he literally stopped dead, turned backwards and passed it back. The crowd moaned and he turned round as captain and mouthed back to them. Fair enough if he had a point but he didn’t, there was absolutely no reason not to progress the ball. Really poor for me today and never a captain.

Terrible. You can see the difference with Ricardo that there is a player whom had the brain and legs and lost the second part as opposed to someone who had neither.

Not this season, no. But he has in the past and you can see today a player who hasn't ever been. There is no drop off with Choudhury, a limited player who drifts around most games he plays.

Despite being captain that was the only time I saw him open his mouth, except when he ran 50 yards to moan at the lino after their first goal. Never once did he shake his fists and shout "Come on"

I know but Choudhury was worse than Justin when he covered for him, Ndidi when he covered there. The bloke isn't what we need.

Ricky P is done, his mind unfortunately is trying to cash cheques that his body can't cover, which is truly a shame.

 

IMO Hamza is a weapons grade b3ll3nd off and on the pitch,  its a travesty he's been made captain 

 

I'd like to see Aluko given a chance to see if he's the upgrade for both of them.

My heart sinks when I see his name on the team sheet, awful player, and captain too. He should have been released a few seasons ago. Our full backs are so bad, every option is dreadful, its a travesty that this has been allowed to happen. 
Poor recruitment, no forward planning. Which is Rudkins fault.
