Didn't vardy score a last minute winner in one of the Europa league matches!? I've been googling but can't find it.

Ricky P 88th minute against PSV is all I can think of.

Didn't Fryatt get two late on in that one?

Yeah just had a look 87th and the second was in injury time. Couldn't remember if the second was actually past the 90th minute

Basically not many then. We are trawling 30 odd years to find six or seven examples - and half of those are draws.

Contrast and compare to how many we've thrown away in that same period. I'd wager we could quote 50+. Bizarre really.

Prior to yesterday, I'm really struggling. Slim pickings and Rodgers teams were always out on their knees by 70 mins, so badly conditioned they were. Puel the same.

I think Wes got a late header at Burnley in a routine end of season game. Kels got a VAR winner v Everton but nobody celebrated as the flag had gone up.

The goal against PSV in the conference in April 2022 was pretty exciting.

Didn't Gordon "Whacker" McGinty bundle Riddlington Athletic's keeper, Joe "Tubbs" Troutbut, over the line in the 93rd minute of the 1907 Samson & Smedley Cup quarterfinal?

Or did I just imagine it?

Going after 85 mins rather than stoppage time

Dewsbury-Hall on opening day, Casadei v Cardiff, Winks V WBA, Vardy v Sheff Utd, Amartey V Brighton in the last three seasons

Again wasn't a winner, but Steve Walsh's equaliser after Bergkhamp sublime goal in a 3 - 3 all draw at Filbert Street.

And for the whole of the following season, at the start of their football coverage, 5Live played the clip of Bergkhamp scoring their third with the commentary, 'Bergkhamp wins it for Arsenal'.

And everytime I said to the radio, 'No he fecking didn't'.

My favourite ever game was the 3-3 draw v Arsenal at Filbo. I think it was the early nineties and there were 3 goals in injury time with Walshy getting the late late equaliser.

Game set & match..Always stays in my memory
