There is a pub in Stamford which hints at being owned / ran by a Leicester fan.

I had the unfortunate pleasure of watching last weeks game alongside a day tripping Coventry fan in there 😏

For completeness, there is also a pub a short walk away owned and run by a Middlesbrough fan.

The Golden Fleece in Stamford is my favourite pub there.....know a few city fans there,Market Deeping,Bourne.

Been going next door to the Millstone for Leicester games recently - had favoured the Lord Burleigh before that, but got lazy given it’s a reasonable treck to town for me as it is.

Haven’t troubled The Golden Fleece in my time here yet.

Why Yikes ?

Immigrants who got to a place shitting on other immigrants just because they were first. Which is ironic considering that you’re an immigrant in Canada, too…

Maybe they should learn to fit into the society and culture. Rather than coming and making no effort at all. For example some being in the county for over 20 years and not bothering to learn how to speak English ? How about the immigrants who come make no efforts at all, take advantage of everything given to them and make no efforts to contribute anything back? How about the behaviour of those who do carry themselves in that manner undermining all the hard work the ones before them who put in when they arrived. If it wasn’t for any of them that came before and put the work in things wouldn’t be so easy for the ones who came after.  I can continue on but don’t want to make you upset.

Remember that Sky graphic where we were the most popular team in the Outer Hebrides? Then it turned out it was one Leicester fan and he posted on here lol

Great to still see shirts out and about in the areas surrounding the city. Wigston is very Leicester. Fleckney has its fair share of support as well.

Harborough is the weird one, literally shirts from all over the place there.

It’s crossed a cultural threshold in recent years, and subsequently seen a massive influx of affluent families in the last 5-10 years. People have moved there from all over.

I went tigers today. The amount of non-Leicester accents in the stands did my nut in.

Walked past the train station and everyone buggering off to all over the country.

I just don’t understand why people can’t support their local clubs, whether that be football, rugby, cricket or whatever.

Most infuriating thing at Tigers is seeing Forest hats/memorabilia then with a Tigers shirt.

There’s an extreme view regarding Leicester, when you think those in the county should maybe support their nearest county town rather than the city. It’s one I’ve thought about but normally the reason you support a team is slightly nuanced anyway. Nonetheless, I hate it when people slag the city off whilst supporting the club!

That forest memorabilia would be in a cardboard box in the loft if they were back in the bottom half of the championship.

Makes me laugh that over the last few years back in the Premier league you now hear loads of Forest fans piping up on talksport about random topics when previously you never heard a peep from them.

To be fair to those folk, there isnt much to shout about if you like sport and you're from Derby.  Rubbish teams everywhere.
