To be played:

REPLAYS:

  • Chelsea v Aston Villa
  • Sheffield Wednesday v Coventry
  • Bristol City v Nottingham Forest
  • Leeds United vs Plymouth

If we get a Perm team and play our first eleven it'll be an interesting pre-prem barometer to see how far away we are.

No replays from now on in so a home draw is an even bigger advantage.  Someone struggling in the prem is always a good bet because they will have other priorities.  Luton at home for me.

I would take man United away out of Liverpool or Man City..

Anyone at home bar them 3.. Maidstone we would hit the jackpot but I don’t think they would be that impressed lol

Easy draw at home for a midweek.

Trying to think of who the best decent team to get would be at any stage. Obviously Man City and Liverpool would be horrible at any point. Arsenal maybe as their focus will be on the champions league and premier league. With all the other big teams its probably their only realistic chance of silverware.

I think Arsenal were beaten by Liverpool in the third round!

Doubt we need a barometer to be honest, we’re miles away from being competitive in the EPL. The cup is a different beast and one off games are not really a barometer anyway. Still like to win it but the chances are probably 5000/1. They never come off.

A bit like HMS sunk before she sails or whatever you claimed so stridently before yesterday's game?
