During AFCON, after some disappointments in the league, with a few injuries, you're damn right I said to start the fringe players against Birmingham, and I'm glad Enzo did.  Imagine if Winks or KDH played in that game and pulled a hammy or broke a leg.

That doesn't change that I really wanted the fringe players to step up and win.

And it doesn't change that we should be in a much stronger position when the 5th round comes around.

But sure, talk about posters in here rather than the football, go ahead.

At least you had an interest in it. I could show you umpteen posts that say got absolutely no interest in this.

The fringe players sadly didn't step up, and in the next round we'll be even more battered than we were at half-time against Brum with a better side against us.

Liverpool won leagues, domestic, and European cups in the same season with 12 players.

I'm happy the FA Cup still means something to me.

Could do with a mid-level prem league team. So we can see what level were at

A one off cup game isn’t going to tell us “what level we’re at”.

The only level that matters is right now and whether we’re better than 22 teams in the Championship. We’ll worry about the Premier League IF we go up and see what the new squad of players can do.

Based on our luck for getting the most boring draws and our upcoming League fixtures, I reckon it will be Leeds away, so we play the same fixture twice in a row.

Man Utd will get a home tie against Maidstone.

They will blow it against Argyle on Penalties

Is there a worse game to have to replay than Plymouth? What a ****ing balls up by then that is. Great for us though.

I would love Maidstone home or away, their performance has been remarkable. I don’t care for the cup final unless we are in it, I want to see those magical ties where 5th/6th tier teams face up some of the best teams in the land.

Those ties that upset the odds, like Maidstone have just done, are one of the few truly great things about football now that money has so badly damaged the higher levels of domestic and European competition.
