Soumare is like a giant turd that Brendan Rodgers left in the bowl before he was fired, and three years later he still won’t flush

Think Brendan never wanted him either to be fair

I kinda like Soumare in small doses but he should never, ever be starting. And definitely never in a two

Skipp,. honestly, is a decent honest fit water carrier player. 5m-6m worth. Nobody should get on his back for Rudkin's negotiating skills.

Skipp hasn’t demonstrated that this season. He’s literally had one good half when he played ironically as a more forward number 8 away at Palace, other than that he’s looked way off it. Soumare might be playing badly but that doesn’t make Skipp better. Other than Winks as an alternative we’d be better off moving El Khanouss deeper or play Ricardo out of position if Soumare is dropped.

Largely agree. The only game (plus a creditable display v Villa) where him, Wilf, winks played as a three.

And guess what, we were OK..

Apart from that, he's been pretty much played in a two for a couple of weeks after the Palace game, asked to do the Winks role (he can't)....then jettisoned completely.

Then the Dutchman came in and immediately made a beeline for him and Buonanotte as the root of all our evils (damning Skipp with faint praise)

A three of Wilf, Winks, Skipp is a respectable, half decent lower PL midfield. Each covering the others deficiencies. To me it's all so staggeringly frustratingly obvious

He is as despicable as Faes and that is some going.

Both are the exact kind of player I used to look at other Premier League teams having and laugh. We used to have so many great attitudes and such a likeable team that got the most out of what they had. Teams like Spurs were always full of these types. Difference is Spurs have always had a few good players. We have absolutely none, bar maybe Hermansen.

It's as bad as I can ever remember it and I'm actually sick of talking about it now. It's beyond ****ed. I can't believe I just read someone defend King Power too.

There just isn’t enough consistency or overall quality to his game. I’d probably look at bringing winks back in or perhaps, even Skipp? We’re going to need some energy in the middle of the parking this new formation.

The more he plays the faster his value is falling. It's now all about damage limitation and maximising sales values. Bench the guy for his own good and our balance sheet. Skipp or Winks even Braybrooke cannot be as consistently woeful. The odd decent performance in flashes just isn't good enough for morale.

I commented last year he needs to be moved on quickly considering how lazy he plays and the air of entitlement that surrounds him. Still stand by that. He seems to up his game against 'top' teams but even those bumps in effort have deserted him. He's s a morale deflator. He needs benching then shopping out to anyone who wants him, loss or otherwise.

I backed him a while ago but yet again he’s lost me due to his terrible past several games.

He typified how scared we are to go forward when in the first half Kristiansen could have bombed down the wing but past it inside to Daka or could have turned and ran at Chelsea’s defence but inside passed it back to Soumare who, under zero pressure and two simple passes to teammates passed it directly to a Chelsea player.

We spunked about 3 attacks in the first half when we should have at least got a shot off at their goal.

1 more year until this guy is finally off our books

I know the PL have the rule of not allowing you to loan a player out with one year left.

Any idea if the EFL are the same??

p.s I hate Bouba and he epitomises everything wrong with this hideous group of to55ers.

I'm waiting for that one match in 20 he plays well for some to jump up and down and say you see, he IS a decent player.

Soumare built like an ox, plays like a 4ft.   midget, I'd prefer the 4ft midget.

Ah, but the midget has prior commitments mid-season.

It's Panto!

He should be called ‘Goal a game’ Soumare for the opposition! Fack me I’ve never seen a midfielder who is so so poor off the ball, can’t track a runner or get goal side. Him and Faes stink the place out with their attitude.
