What was going on this morning?

Recommended Posts

I bike past the KP stadium at roughly 4.40/4.50am on the way to work most mornings and see some unusual stuff, weird peeps at times etc., but this morning there was about 30 people of African descent, including young children milling around the middle  of the outside of the family stand with what appeared to be a lot of luggage lying around and one small car.

I was trying to figure out what could possibly have been going on at that time of the morning,  I've not seen anything like it in 3 1/2 years of cycling past there:dunno:

It might have been the Sleep Easy event organised by the YMCA to raise money to support young people rough sleeping and homelessness around Leicestershire. Many brought sleeping bags, layers etc to "rough sleep" for the night to get some perspective

Although there were no children there as far as I saw!

Definitely children there, quite excited too, running around having fun.

Seems the best explanation, just looked so surreal.
