moore_94 Posted 27 June 2024 Posted 27 June 2024 Looking forward to us accepting a lower price to get a deal sorted before the end of month and still failing PSR again like the shitshow of a club we are 2
Paninistickers Posted 27 June 2024 Posted 27 June 2024 Let's assume we need 25m to comply with PSR prior to 30 June.. Any bidders can have it quite simple. 30m before end of June,.PSR shortfall + 5m for us to replace After 30 June, 40m Dems da rules 1

FoxinNotts Posted 27 June 2024 Posted 27 June 2024 Bet we could use our new set piece coach to give us the inside track on Sara. He coached him at Norwich. Took all his dead balls for them
EastAnglianFox Posted 27 June 2024 Posted 27 June 2024 Nothing against the lad, but I’ve not forgotten how out of his depth he looked at times during our last Premier league season. Many on here were claiming the same thing, he’s not quick enough and and will always only have the one foot which has always slowed down our play. 30 mill and I’d snap anybody’s hand off right now 2

moore_94 Posted 27 June 2024 Posted 27 June 2024 Could you imagine telling our fans 2 years ago that Brighton would seemingly have a good chance at buying our best player from us? ffs 2

Corky Posted 27 June 2024 Posted 27 June 2024 Crap but if it clears our PSR problems then it needs to happen. We have to get out of that cycle.

Qwerty Posted 27 June 2024 Posted 27 June 2024 Why on earth would we do a swap when it’s money we need ! 1
Aleksz Posted 27 June 2024 Posted 27 June 2024 Just now, Qwerty said: Why on earth would we do a swap when it’s money we need ! Because it’s “profit” in the books we need and we get that from selling an academy player. An utterly ridiculous situation premier league clubs are finding themselves in. 1

Aleksz Posted 27 June 2024 Posted 27 June 2024 It’s not a straight swap. There’s obviously cash involved for us, and a decent wedge. Utterly ridiculous either way.

Finn Claw II Posted 27 June 2024 Posted 27 June 2024 Swaps might be quite clever in that while it’s the net amount that is real money presumably the gross amount counts for KDH in PSL terms while we’ll amortise the Moder payment, so value at £40m / £15m net £25m is the same in real money as £30’m / £5m but may not be in terms of profitability i’m sure you have to show that the transfers are reasonable value but it’s quite subjective

CosbehFox Posted 27 June 2024 Posted 27 June 2024 Surprised people are so shocked. Was always going to be a horrible deal like this.
Popular Post EnderbyFox Posted 27 June 2024 Popular Post Posted 27 June 2024 He's gone then either way, Chelsea or Brighton, doesn't matter. Having to sell arguably our best player (who doesn't even want to leave) due to financial mismanagement. And the people who got us in this mess are still in post, laughable 3 3
TheGoldenGod Posted 27 June 2024 Posted 27 June 2024 People out there still feeling optimistic???? Clubs shat the bed. Admitted defeat before its even started. Who is Moder? 🤣🤣

lcfc_forever Posted 27 June 2024 Posted 27 June 2024 Chelsea trying to hijack the deal should mean we get more money but with this board who knows?!
