He’s got an engine, and unfortunately that’s where it ends. Victor is poor at either end of the pitch, and it really hurts us. I’d be playing Justin there until we find a replacement, because he can play that role much better than Victor. I think he has stock in Europe, so let him go. 
 

Furthermore, speaks volumes for the standard of the Italian league if he was considered good…..

I think he was just a solid part in a good team. Think Danny Simpson in our title winning team, he won the league with us but there weren't any suitors lining up to sign him just because of the amazing season we had as a team.

 

The fact that Bologna weren't that bothered about retaining him, who have plenty of money to burn, tells you everything to know about how he is rated in Italy.

His first few months here he showed more bottle on the pitch than almost all of his team mates.

 

He's had a chat with enzo last summer and acceptedhe doesn't fit into Enzo's plans. Rather than being happy to waste a year of his career collecting wages from us he went out and moved country again at 20 and had a solid season for the team that finished 5th in Serie A.

Id rather he be backup to a better left back, but he really isn’t that bad. Its if he gets injured that we are really screwed as we are then relying on Luke Thomas.

 

Be careful what you wish for. Imagine we sell Kristianssen but don’t manage to get a replacement in and have to watch Luke Thomas every week til Christmas.
