Cant understand people saying the parade is almost worthless.

FFS we've won the title and promotion back at the first attempt.

I know we win everything BUT it just could be that we dont win anything for a while so just embrace and enjoy it.

Not sure why some people are anti, there are plenty of young fans who haven't experienced or are too young to remember the PL parade.

 

Also the Lads have put in sweat, blood and tears into achieving this, let the have their moment in the sun.

We coming from skegness,  I finish a night shift 5am (hopefully) driving from Boston to pick up family,  off to the kp... holiday inn booked, no football, just experience the 2 days and celebrations with our boy who has never had this experience 😀 😄

Exactly. My boy was far too young to go to any previous parade. Will just be a fun day out where we can celebrate a little more. 

 

Thing is, if we actually make a 'success' of the PL its likely we won't be winning or celebrating anything any time soon. Success will be mid / lower table life.

 

Let them enjoy it.

Why do we need a reason to celebrate and share something positive?

No wonder mental health issues are through the roof!

Plus give the local city centre economy a mini boost for the day!

Pre-parade entertainment: 11:30am at Haymarket

Start: 12pm from Northampton Street

Arrival time: 12:40pm at Haymarket

Celebration: 1:15pm from the balcony overlooking the Clock Tower

Players depart balcony: 2pm

Taking my son to the Blackburn game in the away end due to returned tickets but gotta clean stadium up on Sunday so sadly can't attend , I was invited to the staff party after match on Saturday but it's staff only ... I'm sure the atmosphere at match will be just as good through

They've clearly scaled it back. Lifting the trophy off the TK Maxx balcony is definitely "we shouldn't have ever been in the Championship in the first place" planning. But sod it, it's a lovely day out and not everyone will get to see them lift the trophy in the stadium on Saturday. Loved the open top bus parades as a kid. Let the team enjoy this with the fans. I mean, it's a sad day if you can't have a massive party for winning the league, whatever league you're in.

Yes but you'll have to buy a parade membership at 32 quid and a 25 quid charge if you don't want entrance on your phone.  You can't throw your own scarves or hats onto the bus, they need to be scarves and hats purchased through official channels and any photos must be official ones at 10 quid each.

This squad had a task. Guys like Mavididi, Fatawu, Winks, Doyle, Mads etc. were not here last year. Put last season to one side, they've acheived their aim and won the highest trophy they were tasked with winning. 

 

Well done to them. It deseves to be celebrated like any other promotion.
