Lindsey Graham. Bit of a pro-war hawk, but one of the few in the Republican Party who continued to support Ukraine and had Trumps ear.

...I think that's understating it a bit.

Ukraine was about the only area of his foreign policy view that wasn't entirely bloodthirsty for its own sake. And like a lot of other spineless Repubs, he rightly denounced Felon#47 in the wake of inciting a coup on January 6th 2021 but then pledged loyalty to him three years later because he feared for his position.

Sam Neill, agreed 78.

Goodness me, it's been a busy week for the Styx ferryman.

Seems like he was recovering from cancer so unfortunately maybe suffered sudden relapse or infection?

RIP

These last month or two has been brutal.

I know the world is a larger place now with social media and more people are famous for the sake of being famous, however they just keep coming.

People talk about Jurassic Park but this guy had an absolutely incredible career.

As a big horror fan, Event Horizon, Mouth Of Madness and Dead Calm all classics IMO.

I rewatched Hunt For The Wilderpeople just the other week. It's awesome.

Also seemed like a proper gent, a super humble and unassuming guy who lived a quiet life away from the nonsense of Hollywood on his New Zealand farm.

RIP Sam Neill.

Peaky Blinders too. IMO, his best performance.

RIP Sam Neill.

Reading the news of his death, I had completely forgotten Hunt for the Wilderpeople. Love that film.

RIP Sam Neill.

The Showcase screened Event Horizon in their flashback series a few weeks ago. Couldn’t make it sadly but would love it if they could screen it again.

He really did have a wonderful career. I watched Untamed on Netflix a few weeks ago and he gave yet another great and nuanced performance. A sad loss of a great servant to the craft. RIP

Speaking of Sam Neill, there's so many memorable movies you could cite that he was in.

Possession, for example. Although it's more known for Isabelle Adjani's performance.

Also saw a mention of My Brilliant Career on FB.
