Norwich surely must realise that they need to take a lead to Elland road. Their away from is one of the worst in the league

Was literally just going to say this

This is bloody awe full, both teams deserve to go out on this showing.

I think perhaps you might mean the opposite?

Awful?

Fascinating how two, decent sides can play a whole season of football with the ultimate aim of getting promoted.

Then, when they DO get to the play-offs, they DON’T have a right good go at it. Two matches to play your fookin socks off, to reach Wembley.

Both managers must have drilled it into their players to be cagey. To NOT put everything onto the pitch for fear of losing.

It’s a real shame both for the players and the supporters. Reminds me of Southgate as England manager. This emphasis on ‘not losing at all costs’, rather than ‘winning at all costs’.

I’m guessing it’s bound up in the financial riches of making the Premiership. To lose in the play offs is to not win an awful lot of money.

But again, in terms of entertainment and a ‘spectator sport’ it nullifies it, unfortunately

Feel that Norwich need to make this leg count which they aren’t at the minute.

I would be happy with either Norwich or West Brom. I voted West Brom as I thought they are very good at ours and the best side to visit the KP so deserve it. But Norwich are poor so would be good. And it’d be a Derby with Ipswich. It’s good to have the derbys happening like Portsmouth and Southampton if they don’t win the playoffs and the Sheffield derby is back this coming season.

Perhaps fatigue comes into it?

I doubt it’s a factor at all

I didn’t see any fatigue in yesterday’s play off game.

No, this rubbish will be about how the players have been told to play.

All it would take is just one of these teams to have a real go, then the other team would also have to.

This is your archetypal game of chess and it’s appalling viewing
