You just don't pass the ball there, you finish it yourself or run further near the 6 yard box. Defender already was covering cleverly to force a pass and have a chance to clear it if shot was going low on the right side of the goal. A lot of these players lack football intelligence.

He's done nothing wrong there. It's the player that can't finish that's the issue.

I agree. What I'm saying is that I would have gone all the way to finish it myself or pass later for a tap in. This wasn't the correct way to react on a 3 on 1 situation.

Ronaldo has never scored against Turkey so expect to see him shoot everytime he has eyes on goal even if there is a better option to pass to a teammate.
