Derby more where I expected to see them this season, bad day for them with big wins for Hull and Pompey. Incredibly tight down there. Rowett doing great at Oxford so far.

TBF they had good chances in an open game but didn’t take them and we did ours fortunately.

To put a perspective on things sad news coming from Portsmouth.

Burnley have signed former Newcastle United and England midfielder Jonjo Shelvey until the end of the season.

The 32-year-old joins following the expiration of his contract with Turkish Super Lig club Eyupspor.

Why did Sunderland's 2nd goal get disallowed?

I keep half an eye on Oxford as the in-laws are from there. They're having a very good season. Look like they will survive and be playing us next season.

@Super_horns - half way point, are you happy with your team. Seem to be doing alright. Cleverly added some stability to the team?

was bizarre wasnt it! only thing it could be is hand ball may be?? But the linesman seemed to be calling it as offside?!

We need some new players as our form is slipping badly .

Stability?

Not really - talk of him being under pressure and not getting support from the  board but that might just be fans fearing the worse .

I don't think the linesman flagged. Saw a snippet from soccer special where they showed the goal, then a good 15-20 seconds as the ref walks back he seems to be talking to the 4th official about something.

Shouldn't be for handball as it seemed accidental but also it wasn't the player scoring that did the handball anyway.

It's very odd and why it's completely wrong that there is no accountability on referees. They should have to explain decisions

They probably made something up to the players I suspect .

mental lol

Contract expires June 2027. If they can afford to, I'd keep him and force him to train with the youth team until next January lol

In all their crazy moves, this might be the craziest yet by the Pozzo’s.

They have probably not liked Cleverley asking for new signings so as usual gone down this route.

Like Leicester, Watford fans will be dishing out the protests if they do pull the trigger.

I know you’re used to it, but on this occasion surely there’s no way back for the Pozzo’s.

Well there were chants at the game last week but don’t think we have a particularly vocal fanbase like that.

Club have denied Tom isn't going anywhere - well till after the  weekend.

We'll see but another poor performance or result and he'll probably be gone.
