Steve seems a decent guy with a lot of experience. I for one will support him 100% and as a supporter since '  63 accept hard work alone may not be enough next season.

Have we ever thought about having a look around Europe at potential managers?

Surely even we can do better than Steve Cooper.  I'd honestly rather have Steve Evans.

He's wearing a Paul Smith jumper that forest fans used to get very excited about as part of his connection to the city and he's celebrating a forest win.

 

It's a small thing but it's evidence we're not a serious club anymore.

The extremely understated and unenthusiastic phrasing of the tweet suggests that the club is very aware of how unpopular this appointment will be with the fans and are trying to avoid winding people up any more than necessary.
