When did you know no new signings for Spurs?

“They have to be registered by midday on Friday and you know a few days before that because it’s a process, with the medical and registration. It’s a real process. We knew pretty early in the week that it would be unlikely. We’re focusing on the guys here and they deserve that.”

Where are goals coming from?

“The normal answer is the guys at the top end and it’s not the perfect situation going into this game. We have to find a way. We have to find the right strategy to make sure we can be a threat. We have to believe in our way and the things we’re doing, including creating and scoring. And that’s not just the striker. It’s about how you get it to the top end. We do have enough players to be a threat at the top end.”

Lol seriously, have you seen the majority of our fanbase? They clapped us to relegation.

I will never forget leaving my seat at the fulltime whistle on the final day and seeing so many fans stand up applauding. Genuinely shocked

Communication with recruitment chiefs?

“It’s a very aligned club. You can see why it’s had the success it’s had in its Premier League history. That’s what I’m feeling. The context at the moment is making us a stronger team and squad. Communication lines are clear. Some things haven’t gone our way, which is not the club’s fault. Let’s hope we’re were want to be in a couple of weeks’ time. The players here feel good about themselves and let’s hope we can take that into the season.”

This couldn't be further from the truth. We're not aligned and the fact we're in this mess IS the club's fault, specifically Rudkin.

No-one, but he's hardly going to come out and say 'it's going to be a real struggle and I can't see us scoring because our good striker is crocked and everyone else is crap'.

What do you expect him to say, really?

Like he was doing in pre-season, call them out saying he and the players want new players in now

He need to be focus on what we have, not want we have got.

Maybe he understands the issues the club is having he has more information than us.

Everyone knows the situation, he’s not going to do what Rodgers did and portray that he has zero faith in the first 11 that he’s got.

End of the day, Cooper has come into a tough job and I wish him and our current squad success to see us to safety regardless of deductions and transfers.

Hope for the best!
