Ipswich chucking big money out this summer

They have to have a go, same as Forest did last summer, as its their only realistic chance of staying up.

Would be helpful if Everton lost DCL and Branthwaite to further weaken them. We're going to be relying on other teams being utter garbage to stay up this season.

Branthwaite and DCL last minute of the transfer deadline please.  And Decoure to be sold to a Saudi club.

Criminal

Solomon is a much better footballer and we likely could have brought or had an option on him.

I really really really hope that his nationality/religion played no part in our recruitment decisions.

Why we spent £25m on Skipp when gilmour was available for 12.5m is baffling

Brighton wouldn’t sell him to a fellow PL side for that fee IMO.

Exactly. And he's not worth any more than that. A player who will not be missed by any of his former clubs. Another over-hyped Chelsea youth.

True but at risk of not selling at all by demanding much more to a PL club, might make their finances unecessarily stretched.

They wouldn't have demanded as much as we paid for Skipp.
