Nolucklcfc Posted 30 June 2024 Posted 30 June 2024 Good for future but where’s our actual replacement? 1
Hitesh Posted 30 June 2024 Posted 30 June 2024 Also I guess in future years we'd potentially make a decent profit from him as well

StriderHiryu Posted 30 June 2024 Posted 30 June 2024 Very promising player but not really the first name on the list for a relegation battle. If we do get relegated, he’d be a real asset to get us back up. Of the players we were linked to from Chelsea, this one is pretty good. 2

Chelsea have a brilliant academy and so many players that leave still do great, see Livramento, Guehi, Tomori, Miley, etc. He’s a good signing but you’d expect him to be a squad option this season, playing a bigger role in the years to come. Way prefer this to Casadei who was a major disappointment in his time here. 3 1
Pliskin Posted 30 June 2024 Posted 30 June 2024 This lad a properly good. Cooper will likely know of him too considering his links with academy prospects. We’ve no business getting this type of player from Chelsea in all honesty, this is a better deal for us than KDH is for them. 2
Popular Post moore_94 Posted 30 June 2024 Author Popular Post Posted 30 June 2024 Said it in the other thread but still... I think I much prefer us only having to buy a youth player from them (as long as the transfer fee isn't ridiculous) as it means we don't have to specifically pick one of their older players to buy who would have a higher fee and probably very big wages 7

Always take the “rated highly by Chelsea” thing lightly too. If he was rated that highly, they wouldn’t let him go permanently.

Chelsea are a madness and have a history of zero patience, also as @StriderHiryu said, better this than Casadei! 2
